AG Pro Ichimoku Cloud Equilibrium Map [AGPro Series]
Overview / What it does
AG Pro Ichimoku Cloud Equilibrium Map is an Ichimoku-based overlay designed to map balance, displacement, and return-to-balance behavior around a dynamic equilibrium core. Instead of using Ichimoku primarily as a traditional bullish/bearish checklist, this script reorganizes the framework around one structural question: where is price trading relative to its current equilibrium, and is that position balanced, expanding, overstretched, or reclaiming balance?
The script blends Kijun-Sen with the cloud midpoint to build an equilibrium core, then expands that core into an adaptive equilibrium band using ATR and cloud thickness. From there, it classifies how price is behaving around that band and displays the result through chart states, optional labels, and a compact information panel.
This script is intended as a chart analysis tool. It is built to help users read structure more efficiently, especially when standard Ichimoku layouts feel visually dense or interpretation-heavy.
Unique Edge
The main difference is that this script does not treat Ichimoku as a simple trend confirmation overlay. It converts the Ichimoku framework into an equilibrium map.
Rather than focusing only on whether price is above or below the cloud, this script asks:
- Is price still near structural balance?
- Is price moving away from equilibrium in a controlled way?
- Has the move become stretched?
- Is price returning back into equilibrium after displacement?
That makes it different from a standard Ichimoku presentation, where the raw components are visible but the user must do most of the structural interpretation manually.
It is also different from other AG Pro scripts built around breakout quality, oscillator pressure, compression behavior, or reversion frameworks. This tool is specifically centered on equilibrium, extension, and reclaim behavior using an Ichimoku-derived structure model.
Methodology
The script uses the following structure:
1. Kijun-Sen
Kijun-Sen is used as one of the main balance anchors.
2. Cloud midpoint
The midpoint between Span A and Span B is used as a second structural reference.
3. Equilibrium core
The script combines Kijun-Sen and the cloud midpoint into a dynamic equilibrium core.
4. Equilibrium band
An adaptive band is built around the equilibrium core using ATR and cloud thickness. This allows the model to respond differently in quieter and more volatile conditions.
5. Stretch zones
Beyond the equilibrium band, the script defines stretch areas that help distinguish normal directional expansion from more extended displacement.
6. Reclaim logic
When price moves back into the equilibrium region after being outside it, the script can classify that transition as a reclaim state.
This methodology is designed to make Ichimoku structure more explicit without removing the original context of the cloud framework.
States / Signals & Alerts
The script classifies chart behavior into the following states:
Balanced
Price is trading inside the equilibrium band.
Bullish Expansion
Price is trading above the equilibrium band with supportive directional structure.
Bearish Expansion
Price is trading below the equilibrium band with supportive directional structure.
Overstretched Bullish
Price is extended above the stretch threshold.
Overstretched Bearish
Price is extended below the stretch threshold.
Bullish Reclaim
Price has returned into the equilibrium region after trading below it.
Bearish Reclaim
Price has returned into the equilibrium region after trading above it.
Available alert conditions:
- Bullish Expansion
- Bearish Expansion
- Overstretched Bullish
- Overstretched Bearish
- Bullish Reclaim
- Bearish Reclaim
These states and alerts are descriptive tools for chart analysis. They are not a complete trade plan and should be interpreted in context.
Key Inputs
Ichimoku settings
Users can adjust Tenkan length, Kijun length, Senkou Span B length, and displacement.
Equilibrium engine settings
Users can control ATR length, equilibrium band sensitivity, cloud-thickness contribution, stretch sensitivity, and chop lookback.
Visual settings
Users can control cloud visibility, Kijun visibility, equilibrium band visibility, stretch zones, state labels, label density, and panel appearance.
These inputs allow the script to be tuned for different symbols, volatility conditions, and chart preferences.
Limitations & Transparency
This script is an indicator, not a strategy.
It does not place trades, manage positions, calculate performance, or guarantee outcomes.
The Equilibrium Score is an internal structure summary built from distance, alignment, cloud thickness, Tenkan/Kijun spread, reclaim contribution, and chop penalty. It is not a probability model, not a forecast, and not a standalone decision engine.
Overstretched conditions do not automatically imply reversal.
Reclaim conditions do not automatically imply continuation.
Expansion conditions do not automatically imply strength will persist.
As with any chart tool, interpretation depends on market regime, timeframe, volatility, and the user’s broader workflow. In noisy environments, state changes can occur more frequently. The script includes filters to reduce clutter, but no indicator removes uncertainty completely.
Risk Disclosure
This script is provided for research and chart analysis only.
It is not financial advice. Users should evaluate any signal, state change, or alert within their own process, risk framework, and market context before making decisions.

UPDATE NOTES - V1.6AG Pro Ichimoku Cloud Equilibrium Map [AGPro Series]
This update focuses on visual hierarchy, right-edge clarity, and state communication consistency.
What changed
1) Refined right-edge presentation
The active area on the most recent bars has been cleaned up so the chart reads more clearly at first glance. The goal of this pass was not to change the equilibrium logic, but to present the active zone in a more structured and visually intentional way.
2) Stretch tags were repositioned
Bull Stretch and Bear Stretch tags were adjusted so they point toward the active stretch area more naturally instead of appearing to reference empty chart space. This improves directional readability and makes the tags feel more integrated with the structure on the chart.
3) Core tag was redesigned as an anchor label
The Core label was reworked so it behaves more like a reference marker and less like a signal tag. This helps separate the role of the equilibrium core from the role of state-event labels and stretch-context labels.
4) Core label now follows Label Size
The Core tag now scales in line with the main Label Size setting, which keeps the visual language more consistent across different chart styles and user preferences.
5) Better separation between current structure and historical events
Historical event labels remain available for context, while the most recent active area is now easier to identify visually. This creates a cleaner balance between past state transitions and the current decision zone.
6) Current-state consistency improvement
A current-state tag layer was added so the panel state and the visible right-edge chart communication stay better aligned, especially in reclaim conditions. This reduces visual ambiguity when the panel shows a live state that may not match the most recent historical event label.
7) Premium visual polish
The equilibrium core, band presentation, and tag hierarchy were tuned to create a cleaner and more premium look without overcrowding the chart.
What did not change
- No attempt was made to reframe this script as a prediction engine.
- No undocumented promise of future price direction is implied.
- The main equilibrium engine, state logic, and Ichimoku-derived structural framework remain conceptually the same.
- This update is primarily a presentation, readability, and communication refinement.
Why this update matters
The script already carried a useful analytical structure, but parts of the visual output could occasionally compete for attention. This revision improves chart readability and makes the most relevant area easier to interpret without removing the broader structural context.
Result
The chart should now feel more intentional, more readable, and more visually coherent, especially on the most recent bars where users naturally focus first.
As always, this tool is intended to support chart reading, structure assessment, and context evaluation. It is not a guarantee, signal-selling device, or substitute for independent trade planning.
Release Notes
Update Notes - V1.7This update focuses on visual balance and chart readability.
What changed:
- Reduced the opacity of the Ichimoku cloud fill to keep candles and wick structure clearer.
- Softened the equilibrium band fill so the central zone remains visible without dominating the chart.
- Reduced the stretch zone fill intensity to improve price-action visibility during expansion phases.
- Preserved the core equilibrium, reclaim, stretch, and twist logic from the prior version.
- Kept the panel structure, alert framework, and labeling system unchanged.
Why this update was made:
- The previous visual layer could appear too dominant on some charts.
- This refinement improves readability while keeping the indicator's structure and state mapping intact.
Notes:
- This update is visual and presentation-oriented.
- No claim is made regarding predictive accuracy or trading performance.
- The script remains an analysis and alerting tool, not an automated trading system.
Release Notes
Update Notes - V1.8This update is built to make the script feel more premium, more distinctive, and more useful at first glance without changing its core identity as an Ichimoku-derived equilibrium framework.
What changed
1. New stretch memory zones
The script now projects the latest qualified bullish or bearish stretch corridor forward as a rectangular memory zone. This gives displacement phases a cleaner structural footprint and creates a stronger visual reference for post-expansion reactions, pullbacks, and reclaim behavior.
2. Stronger right-edge communication
The live chart edge was reworked with cleaner EQ Core, Bull Zone, Bear Zone, and current-state tags so the most important information reads immediately on the latest bars.
3. Full AGPro panel standard
The panel now follows the premium AGPro format with a merged blue title row, adjustable position, adjustable font size, and theme support. The live metrics were also refined to emphasize structure quality instead of visual clutter.
4. Professional tooltip pass
Core inputs, visual controls, labels, projected zones, and panel settings now include clear English tooltips for a more polished public-release experience.
5. Cleaner title architecture
The script title now follows the newer naming standard by removing the AG Pro prefix from the published script title while keeping AG Pro visible inside the panel header and the short title.
6. Premium palette alignment
The visual system was rebuilt around the AGPro palette so the cloud, equilibrium band, stretch states, and panel hierarchy feel more consistent and brand-defined.
7. Better default readability
Panel font size now defaults to Normal, labels keep more distance from candles, and stretch visuals remain visible without overwhelming price action.
What did not change
- The equilibrium engine is still built from Kijun-Sen and cloud midpoint.
- State logic remains centered on balance, expansion, overstretch, and reclaim behavior.
- The script is still an analysis and alerting framework, not a prediction engine or trading strategy.
Why this update matters
The prior version was structurally sound, but the visual story ended too quickly once displacement faded. The new stretch memory zones solve that by preserving context after expansion, which makes the script feel more intentional, more premium, and more differentiated from standard Ichimoku presentations.
Result
The indicator now communicates not only where equilibrium is, but also where displacement recently lived. That extra layer makes the map richer for continuation traders, reclaim traders, and anyone who wants a more complete structural picture without turning the chart into noise.
