BulletProof VWAP + Volume Profile (2027 Update)

Built to complement the rest of the BulletProof / 3M Capital SMC suite — use it alongside BulletProof SMC Suite and BP FVG Builder to confirm order blocks and FVGs against real volume-based support/resistance, not just price structure.
🔧 Features
Anchored VWAP
- Choose your anchor: Session, Week, Month, Quarter, Year, or a Custom date
- ±1/2/3 standard deviation bands for overbought/oversold context
- Shaded fill between price and the first deviation band
Volume Profile
- Fixed Lookback or Visible Range calculation modes
- Point of Control (POC) — the price level with the highest traded volume
- Value Area High/Low with adjustable % (default 70%)
- Buy vs. sell volume split per row, color-coded
Live Dashboard
- VWAP price + % distance from current price
- POC and Value Area range at a glance
- Price position readout: Above VA / Inside VA / Below VA
Alerts
- VWAP cross (above/below)
- POC cross (above/below)
- Value Area breakout (above/below)
🎯 How to use it
- Trade pullbacks to VWAP in trending conditions; fade the outer deviation bands in range-bound conditions
- Treat the POC as a magnet/high-liquidity level — price often gravitates back to it
- A break and hold outside the Value Area often signals the start of a new range or trend leg
- Combine with your SMC structure (BOS/CHoCH, order blocks, FVGs) for confluence — a bullish OB sitting right at VAL or below VWAP is a stronger signal than either alone
⚙️ Settings
All inputs are grouped (Anchored VWAP / Volume Profile / Dashboard) for quick customization — anchor type, band multipliers, profile mode, row count, value area %, and dashboard placement are all adjustable.
⚠️ Notes
Fixed Lookback mode keeps the profile locked to a set number of bars regardless of chart panning/zooming. Visible Range mode recalculates based on what's currently on your screen, matching TradingView's native Visible Range Volume Profile behavior.
This is a tool for identifying confluence and context — not a standalone buy/sell signal generator. Always confirm with your own risk management and broader market structure.
Resolved a runtime error ("historical buffer's limit") that could occur when scanning larger visible ranges for the Volume Profile calculation. The indicator now allocates sufficient historical buffer space to support the full lookback range without interruption.
⚙️ Improvement — Dynamic POC Line
The Point of Control (POC) line now extends automatically to the current right edge of the chart as you scroll or pan, instead of stopping at a fixed bar. This keeps the POC level visible and easy to reference regardless of how far you navigate the chart.
⚡ Performance Optimization
Volume Profile boxes, the Value Area zone, and the POC label are now updated in place rather than deleted and redrawn on every tick. This reduces object overhead and results in smoother, more efficient real-time updates — particularly on lower timeframes or during high-volatility periods.
