So what's the real use of it if it repaints and gives false signals? This always puzzles me

if stop repaint, then it just does heaps of buy and sell in a bunch, as the Decision Threshold is crossed.
just use it in addition to your current strategy of trading, to help confirm or deny,
like, when it says sell for example, let the price drop and not panic, then when some sort of retractment happens (use fib etc), then enter a sell,
and it wont be repainting as some bars will have passed, and the price will be permanently on one side of the threshold.

just refresh the page to see if its changed its mind or not, after a few bars and price change, it signal stay

If you use "close" - it's always going to redraw/repaint and all results from Strategy Tester output are inaccurate, right?
