Bitcoin Expectile Model [LuxAlgo]The Bitcoin Expectile Model is a novel approach to forecasting Bitcoin, inspired by the popular Bitcoin Quantile Model by PlanC. By fitting multiple Expectile regressions to the price, we highlight zones of corrections or accumulations throughout the Bitcoin price evolution.
While we strongly recommend using this model with the Bitcoin All Time History Index INDEX:BTCUSD on the 3 days or weekly timeframe using a logarithmic scale, this model can be applied to any asset using the daily timeframe or superior.
Please note that here on TradingView, this model was solely designed to be used on the Bitcoin 1W chart, however, it can be experimented on other assets or timeframes if of interest.
🔶 USAGE
The Bitcoin Expectile Model can be applied similarly to models used for Bitcoin, highlighting lower areas of possible accumulation (support) and higher areas that allow for the anticipation of potential corrections (resistance).
By default, this model fits 7 individual Expectiles Log-Log Regressions to the price, each with their respective expectile ( tau ) values (here multiplied by 100 for the user's convenience). Higher tau values will return a fit closer to the higher highs made by the price of the asset, while lower ones will return fits closer to the lower prices observed over time.
Each zone is color-coded and has a specific interpretation. The green zone is a buy zone for long-term investing, purple is an anomaly zone for market bottoms that over-extend, while red is considered the distribution zone.
The fits can be extrapolated, helping to chart a course for the possible evolution of Bitcoin prices. Users can select the end of the forecast as a date using the "Forecast End" setting.
While the model is made for Bitcoin using a log scale, other assets showing a tendency to have a trend evolving in a single direction can be used. See the chart above on QQQ weekly using a linear scale as an example.
The Start Date can also allow fitting the model more locally, rather than over a large range of prices. This can be useful to identify potential shorter-term support/resistance areas.
🔶 DETAILS
🔹 On Quantile and Expectile Regressions
Quantile and Expectile regressions are similar; both return extremities that can be used to locate and predict prices where tops/bottoms could be more likely to occur.
The main difference lies in what we are trying to minimize, which, for Quantile regression, is commonly known as Quantile loss (or pinball loss), and for Expectile regression, simply Expectile loss.
You may refer to external material to go more in-depth about these loss functions; however, while they are similar and involve weighting specific prices more than others relative to our parameter tau, Quantile regression involves minimizing a weighted mean absolute error, while Expectile regression minimizes a weighted squared error.
The squared error here allows us to compute Expectile regression more easily compared to Quantile regression, using Iteratively reweighted least squares. For Quantile regression, a more elaborate method is needed.
In terms of comparison, Quantile regression is more robust, and easier to interpret, with quantiles being related to specific probabilities involving the underlying cumulative distribution function of the dataset; on the other expectiles are harder to interpret.
🔹 Trimming & Alterations
It is common to observe certain models ignoring very early Bitcoin price ranges. By default, we start our fit at the date 2010-07-16 to align with existing models.
By default, the model uses the number of time units (days, weeks...etc) elapsed since the beginning of history + 1 (to avoid NaN with log) as independent variable, however the Bitcoin All Time History Index INDEX:BTCUSD do not include the genesis block, as such users can correct for this by enabling the "Correct for Genesis block" setting, which will add the amount of missed bars from the Genesis block to the start oh the chart history.
🔶 SETTINGS
Start Date: Starting interval of the dataset used for the fit.
Correct for genesis block: When enabled, offset the X axis by the number of bars between the Bitcoin genesis block time and the chart starting time.
🔹 Expectiles
Toggle: Enable fit for the specified expectile. Disabling one fit will make the script faster to compute.
Expectile: Expectile (tau) value multiplied by 100 used for the fit. Higher values will produce fits that are located near price tops.
🔹 Forecast
Forecast End: Time at which the forecast stops.
🔹 Model Fit
Iterations Number: Number of iterations performed during the reweighted least squares process, with lower values leading to less accurate fits, while higher values will take more time to compute.

R19 STRATEGYHello again.
Let me introduce you R19 Strategy I wrote for mostly BTC long/short signals
This is an upgrated version of STRATEGY R18 F BTC strategy.
I checked this strategy on different timeframes and different assest and found it very usefull for BTC 1 Hour and 5 minutes chart.
Strategy is basically takes BTC/USDT as a main indicator, so you can apply this strategy to all cryptocurrencies as they mostly acts accordingly with BTC itself (Of course you can change main indicator to different assets if you think that there is a positive corelation with. i.e. for BTC signals you can sellect DXY index for main indicator to act for BTC long/short signals)
Default variables of the inticator is calibrated to BTC/USDT 5 minute chart. I gained above %77 success.
Strategy simply uses, ADX, MACD, SMA, Fibo, RSI combination and opens positions accordingly. Timeframe variable is very important that, strategy decides according the timeframe you've sellected but acts within the timeframe in the chart. For example, if you're on the 5 minutes chart, but you've selected 1 hour for the time frame variable, strategy looks for 1 hour MACD crossover for opening a position, but this happens in 5 minutes candle, It acts quickly and opens the position.
Strategy also uses a trailing stop loss feature. You can determine max stoploss, at which point trailing starts and at which distance trailing follows. The green and red lines will show your stoploss levels according to the position strategy enters (green for long, red for short stop loss levels). When price exceeds to the certaing levels of success, stop loss goes with the profitable price (this means, when strategy opens a position, you can put your stop loss to the green/red line in actual trading)
You can fine tune strategy to all assets.
Please write down your comments if you get more successfull about different time zones and different assets. And please tell me your fine tuning levels of this strategy as well.
See you all. Strategy

MAFIA CANDLESMafia Candles is a Exhaustion bar count and candle count indicator, Using the Leledc Candles and 1-3 counting candle play gives you a pretty good idea where a so called "top" will be or a so called "bottom" will be!
In this example, getting the transparent round circles ( either lime or red ) would mean that the move will be a good size move!
EXAMPLE=1 You see a down trend and then the Mafia Candles Flashes a Green Dot on the forming new red candle. This is where in theory you might want to consider going long on the market!
EXAMPLE=2 If you see a RED $ symbol, after a uptrend, this means in theory, there might be room for a short play or room for a small pullback in the price!
THE CIRCLES(RED OR LIME COLORED) ARE INDICATING BIGGER MOVES!
THE $ SYMBOLS (RED OR LIME COLORED) ARE INDICATING SMALLER PULLBACKS OR SMALLER PUMPS IN PRICE!
RED IS CONSIDERED TO BE A SELL!
LIME COLOR IS CONSIDERED TO BE A BUY!
AS MUCH IS BASED OF THE 1-3 CANDLE COUNT AND THE LEDLEC CANDLE DEVIATION STRATEGY, LET ME EXPLAIN THE THEORY ON BOTH THE 1-3 CANDLE COUNT AND THE LELEDC STRATEGY I COMBINE TO BRING YOU THIS ADDITION OF THE INDICATOR....
LELEDC THEORY USAGE...
An Exhaustion Bar is a bar which signals
the exhaustion of the trend in the current direction. In other words an
exhaustion bar is “A bar of last seller” in case of a downtrend and “A bar of
last buyer”in case of an uptrend.
Having said that when a party cannot take the price further in their direction, naturally the other party comes in , takes charge and reverses the direction of the trend.
TO EASIER UNDERSTAND I GIVE YOU A EASY EXAMPLE OF WHAT AN LELEDC EXHAUSTION BAR IS...
1. A wide range bar ( a bar with
long body!!!).
2. A long wick at the bottom of
the bar and no or negligible wick at the top of the bar in case of “Bear exhaustion bar” and
a long wick at the top and no or
negligible wick at the bottom of the bar in case of
“Bull exhuation bar”!!!
3. Extreme volume and.....
4. Bar forming at a key support or resistance
area including a Round Number (RN) and Big Round Number ( BRN ).THE PSYCHOLOGY BEHIND THIS!!!
Now let's assume that we have a group
of people, say 100 people who decides to go for a casual running. After running for few KM's few of
them will say “I am exhausted. I cannot run further”. They will quit running.
After running further, another bunch of runners will say “I am exhausted. I can’t run
further” and they also will quit running.
This goes on and on and then there will be a stage where only few will be left in the running. Now a stage will come where the last person left in the running will say “I
am exhausted” and he stops running. That means no one is left now in the
running. This means all are exhausted in the running.
The same way an exhaustion bar works and if we can figure out that
exhaustion bar with all the tools available on hand, we will be in a big trade
for sure!!.The reason is an exhaustion bar is formed at exact tops and bottoms most of the times. In forex with wide variety of pairs available at the counter ,one can trade this technique to make lifetime gains.
NOW LET ME EXPLAIN THE 1-3 CANDLE CORRECTION COUNT THEORY WHICH IS USED TO GET THE SUM UP SIGNALS FROM THIS INDICATOR FROM ITS INPUT LEVELS!!!
1-3 CANDLES....
The 1-3 Candlestick pattern is basically like sequential, aka a candle counting system!
1-3 CANDLE COUNT means you count the number of bullish=green candles or the bearish=red candles!
3 BULL/GREEN CANDLES in a row, each closing its close higher than the previous one before it is the 1-3 candle top count idea!
lets say you get 3 red bear candles, each candle after the first closes its body below the previous red candle before it, then you see 3 red candles with each closing lower bodies lower than the previous candle, THATS A POSSIBLE SIGN OF BEARISH EXHAUSTION, AND YOU MIGHT HAVE SOME BULLS STEP IN TO TAKE THE PRICE UP AFTER THE IMMEDIATE DOWNFALL OF THOSE 3 RED CANDLES!!
PLEASE IF ANYONE HAS QUESTIONS OR NEEDS ANY FURTHER EXPLANATION, DONT HESISITATE TO MESSAGE ME! CHALRES KNIGHT IS THE ORIGINAL AUTHOR OF THE 1-3 CANDLE COUNT AND THE LELEDC EXHAUSTION BAR INDICATOR ON METE-TRADER! R.IP CHARLES F KNIGHT!!! WE LOVE YOU AND MISS YOU BROTHER!

Bitcoin Logarithmic Growth CurvesThis plots logarithmic curves fitted to major Bitcoin bear market tops & bottoms. Top line is fitted to bull tops, bottom line is fitted to lower areas of the logarithmic price trend (which is not always the same as bear market bottoms). Middle line is the median of the top & bottom, and the faded solid lines are fibonacci levels in between.
Inspired by & based on a Medium post by Harold Christopher Burger, which shows how linear Bitcoin's long-term price growth is when plotted on a double-log chart (log scaling on the price AND time axis).
These curves will only make sense for tickers representing Bitcoin vs. USD (such as BITSTAMP:BTCUSD, BITMEX:XBTUSD, BLX index). Plotting on other assets will probably end up with lines that shoot off into space without any relationship to the underlying price action.
The upper, middle & lower curves can be projected into the future, which can be turned on or off in the indicator settings. The fibonacci levels can also be switched on/off. And the upper & lower curve intercepts & slopes can be tweaked.
I'm releasing this open-source, if you end up making something cool based off of this code, I don't need attribution but please hit me up on here or on twitter (same username) so I can check out what ya made. Thanks, hope y'all enjoy it. Indicator

Bitcoin Price User Correlation [aamonkey]You can only use this for BTC.
Bitcoin over time tends to be priced at 7000 times the number of users (in terms of market cap).
Calculation:
Number of Wallets*7000/(Circulating Supply or 21,000,000)
Settings:
You can decide whether you want to use the Circulating Supply or 21,000,000 as a reference.
The default settings are using 21,000,000 because it seems to be more accurate.
You can easily switch between both versions by checking the box in the settings.
Interesting Findings:
Using circulating supply:
- Most of the time we are under the estimated ("PUC") line
- Once we break above the PUC line we are in the parabolic phase of the Bullrun
- In history, we broke only 4 times above the PUC
- Once we are above the PUC we see crazy growth (parabolic phase)
- We don't spend much time above the PUC
- From breaking the PUC to the new All-Time High of the cycle we took in order: 3 Days, 7 Days, 22 Days, 30 Days
- So the trend is increasing (We are taking more and more time until we see the ATH)
- Currently, we are about to break the PUC
- Then I expect the parabolic phase to begin
- I expect the run to last about 30 days

Alpha-Sutte ModelThe Alpha-Sutte model is an ongoing project run by Ansari Saleh Ahmar, a lecturer and researcher at Universitas Negeri Makassar in Indonesia, that attempts to make forecasts for time series like how Arima and Holt-Winters models do. Currently Ahmar and his team have conducted research and published papers comparing the efficacy of the Alpha-Sutte and other models, such as Arima and Holt-Winters, on topics ranging from forecasting Turkey's CPI data, Bitcoin prices, Apple's stock prices, primary energy supply of Indonesia, to infant mortality rates in China.
The Alpha-Sutte model in comparison to the other two models listed above shows promise in providing a more accurate forecast, and the project has been able to receive some of its funding from organizations such as the US Agency for International Development, which is a part of the US Federal Government, so maybe the project has some actual merit.
How it works:
In this model there are four values presented at the top of the window.
1) The first value in blue is the value of the Alpha-Sutte model whose purpose is to forecast the price of the current bar.
2) The second value in yellow is an adaptive version of the Alpha-Sutte model that I made. The purpose of the adaptive Alpha-Sutte model is to expand upon the Alpha-Sutte by allowing new information to be introduced, causing the value to change during the current period, hence the adaptiveness of it.
3) The third value in aqua is the moving average of the low% Sutte line which is a predictive line that is based off of the close and low of the current and previous periods.
4) The fourth value in red is the moving average of the high% Sutte line which is a predictive line that is based off of the close and high of the current and previous periods.
Trend signals:
If low% Sutte (aqua value/line) is greater than high% Sutte (red value/line) then this is a buy signal.
If high% Sutte (red value/line) is greater than low% Sutte (aqua value/line) then this is a sell signal.
Caveat:
Even though this model's purpose is to forecast the future, will it be able to predict periods of large movements? No, of course not, but it will adjust quickly to try to make more accurate forecasts for the next period. This was also a reason why I made an adaptive version of this model to try to reduce some of the discrepancies between the Alpha Sutte and price when there is a large unexpected move.
*WARNING before using this I would highly recommend that you look up "Sutte Indicator" online and read some of the papers about this model before you use this , even though this model has shown merit when compared to Arima and Holt-Winter models this is still an ongoing project.*
Hopefully this project will actually come to something in the near future as the calculation for this time series predictive model is much easier to calculate and program in pine editor than something like an Arima model.
*Also, if you know how to use R language there is a package for the "Alpha-Sutte model".* Indicator
