Wheat is turned into flour, which is used in a wide range of foods including bread, noodles, pasta, biscuits, cakes, sauces and hundreds more – so it's pretty vital to the global food chain. Despite this, only a handful of companies control the majority of wheat and grain production and processing – and many are privately owned.
