It operates through the following divisions: Food and Food Services, Biotechnology, Logistics and New Distribution, and Entertainment and Media. The Food and Food Services division refers to processing foods, sugar, flour, cooking oil, and food material distribution services. The Biotechnology division focuses on nucleic acids, amino acids, and feed. The Logistics and New Distribution division relates to unloading, transportation, collection, delivery, clothing, electronics and furniture, and cosmetics. The Entertainment and Media division includes advertising, license fees, theater revenue, copyrights, music, and brands. The company was founded on August 1, 1953 and is headquartered in Seoul, South Korea.
