Malaysia Building Society Bhd. is an investment holding company. which engages in the money market activities, provision of financing, advancing and financial guarantees on a secured and unsecured basis, Islamic financing and other related financial services. It operates through the following segments: Consumer Banking, Corporate Banking, Global Market, and Others. The Consumer Banking segment includes property financing, personal financing and wealth management services with individual customers. The Corporate Banking covers the corporate financing, wholesale financing, contract financing and commercial property financing with business customers. The Global Markets segment offers saving accounts, current accounts, term deposits, investment accounts, treasury activities including money market, sukuk, derivatives and trading of capital market securities. The Others segment deals with the rental, property and development, intercompany financing, and operations subsidiaries. The company was founded in 1950 and is headquartered in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
