BSJT tracks the performance of a held-to-maturity portfolio of USD-denominated, high-yield corporate bonds with maturities in 2029. Instead of the perpetual maturity range of a typical bond fund, BSJT provides exposure to a specific maturity date, similar to an individual bond. As the fund approaches its maturity date, duration and YTM will continue to decline. On its target date Dec. 15, 2029 the fund will unwind remaining positions and return capital to shareholders. This structure permits the fund to be used as a building block for a bond ladder, or to plan for a future need.
