Analyzing the options chain and the chart patterns of YY JOYY prior to the earnings report this week,
I would consider purchasing the 35usd strike price Calls with
an expiration date of 2023-10-20,
for a premium of approximately $1.20.
If these options prove to be profitable prior to the earnings release, I would sell at least half of them.

YY is not doing so well. the stock is coming down on weekly bases from FOMO of $145.00 and it is out of mind of investors. Having said that, it has recently broken its mother of all resistance at 75. This stock recently moved from 65 to 70 dollars hitting its 5 and 15 EMAs.
The fundamentals are also nothing to write home about.
Here is how I am going to play...
This Chinese stock has about 50 percent correction from its all time high. The stock has formed nice looking symmetrical pattern. I expect the stock to see short squeeze coming within the next few days, week, or two. I am long the stock.
