SA lost its finance minister yesterday. Although the plunge protection team seemed to be out in full force buying up ZAR yesterday, today they seem to be exhausted, and this currency will continue its journey to worthlessness.
Long term outlook based on pure technicals, AMZN has moved parabolic recently and its pattern over the past few years reminds me of the bull run we saw in BTC last year. Short with a tight stop just above ATH in case another wave up happens, otherwise this looks like a great R/R trade

I guess we should hedge against the big boy short on the SPX. One way of doing that would be to long USDZAR. That way, if we get squeezed out of our short on SPX from 2740, we'll at least make a bit from the ZAR falling to pieces.
