About meI do mostly swing trading with developmental biotech and technology stocks that I am familiar with. I always combine fundamentals and technical analysis to my trade. From macroeconomics down to the cash flow statements of the company.
PROGENITY! Lets follow the money.
Thesis: Why did Progenity performed an impeccable comeback from the short raid today?
Lets pretend that you found PROG the day before the market opened today and you are looking at the candle stick marked with a white arrow.
You'll probably looking for a concerete answers on these...
I'm not a big fan of this stock but I went in because of the clear triangle pattern emerged from this stock. ADX/DI, MACD, BB are in favorable signals. Thus, I'm going to do a pure TA play with AH exit strategy. The stock can go up between 50% and 70% but I'm only aiming 50% or less depending on the volume.
Rumor in StockTwits is that GHSI is planning a...
I came across NASDAQ:MGEN on July 06 and decided to take a small 500 shares at $1.03. Followed by another 533 shares at $0.92 on July 21 during pre-market. So, I had a total of 1033 shares with an average price of $0.9776767. When this got filled, it occurred to me that the after hours (AH)trading pattern is a bit bizarre because that was almost 10% difference....
I took a small position on May 20 for $1.02 and it was a big mistake because I did not do my usual technical analysis and basic fundamental checks. I was lucky that I got out with a profit on the last run up on July 13. I placed a $1.20 GTC order because I am located in New Zealand and it will be impossible for me to be on top of my trades.
However, the stock...
What did I missed that caused the SLRX to slid? Was there an indicator that I should've taken as an exit plan? or is there some indications that I should have taken into consideration as one of my entry criteria? Did I also missed any information I missed prior taking a position?

There is a strong sense of optimism for SLRX because of the PDUFA for Seclidemstat in P 1/2 Ewing Sarcoma trial this June 17, 2020. Most small bios like SLRX are typically driven by these types of updates, but it comes with a high risks that it may turn out it is not a good results. So,...
Few things i noticed:
Volume is thinning out
MACD is curling
ADX higher highs is lower than the former and heading downwards.
DI+ crossed over ADX.
However, StochRSI says its oversold
Fundamentally it is driven by the following reasons:
Has COVID19 Drug candidate.
Low FLOAT: 9.8M shares.
Based from these indicators, I suspect that the best...
Unfortunately, COVID19 happened and Red Hat was purchased in July of 2019. Hence, the effect of Red Hat to IBM would not be fully realised and would be more gradual over the years. I looked at the techinical play and I found that IBM is still in the downtrend since its peak in 2013 (check weekly charts). In my humble opinion, I really think that if the pandemic...
Still indicates that the current trend will persist and may bounce on the trend-line I've drawn based on the weekly charts. The StochRSI is notably showing some weakness and including the MACD, ADX and DI. In the weekly chart it appears that there is a channel forming.
It is currently consolidating according to MACD and BB then StochRSI is heading towards oversold area which could be an early indication that there will be a RSI/StochRSI oversold play near-term. ADX is shifting its direction, but DI+ and DI- crossover that underpins that StochRSI play.
I might take a small position once the StochRSI has...
