Newmont is the only gold mining stock that's inside the S&P 500 index. So, it's a neat way to ride Gold miners while catching inflow (and outflows...) from the S&P. I think that explains its relative outperformance to GDX this month, since the S&P really ripped on the backs of Not QE. This is probably one to watch and buy every dip.

This has been a relatively strong name in the Energy sector. Continuing out of a bull flag here. I think it wants to test resistance. Longer term, it should break out with Energy going up and dollar going down.

Silver outpacing Gold is a bullish sign for the sector. Silver miners (CDE PAAS etc) diverging from and leading Silver to the upside is also very bullish.

Could turn into a nice trend on this weeklong test of the 50ma and now break from bull flag. It is a lagger and has not really participated in the gold rally over the year. It is sitting on an absurd amount of long term price support.

Earlier I posted a breakout in Silver, here is a silver miner. A little inverse H&S showing up on today's action. It seems a little fast for a holiday week. I expect some consolidation that might give a chance to add. This one moves really fast when it wants to (gray rectangle).

Liberty Gold has been consolidating under resistance for like 10 weeks now. It's got a LOT of energy built up if it breaks higher.

I've posted this before but it's looking strong today with the MACD making a very clean turn. These MACD turns have worked out well in the recent past, so I think it's worth the risk to remain long. Plus, Oil and Commodities have been bullish as inflation expectations have ramped up. Plus, this index pays about a 4% dividend. Remaining long and will add on pullbacks.

In the wake of today's FOMC, Gold did NOT get slammed down. That's pretty bullish. GDX has been relatively strong to Gold and its technical picture is shaping up VERY bullishly. - Break of downtrend line(s) - Backtest of such lines - Strong pop off the 50ma Fundamentally, Gold is extremely bullish. Central banks can't stop won't stop printing.

I have heard some bullish fundamental analysis on YY, but am uncertain about the macro picture in China. If they successfully pull off a stimulus, this could be a stock that runs. If YY can recover the 50ma quickly that will be a very bullish sign.
