If we break any lower from here you would sell back down to the current major support uptrend. If we consolidate more at these levels then it safe to start putting on some longs expecting the break of the downtrend soon.

I had suggested taking profits last night if you were short SPX. We are bouncing hard off the downtrend line from our top. Gold is going up too.

We are still in a bear market for the dollar which puts everything in a peculiar situation. Once we firmly put in a bottom markets can stabilize.

I have taken another look at the gold price to see if some other type of pattern is emerging. A break below the previous channel I was watching occurred and there was some immediate downside pressure but nothing to crazy and within a day we were actually breaking back into the channel. We are testing lows again but it seems that the previous channel is not exactly...
