UK reviewer here. IBKR is an excellent broker. The only downside is that the user interface is confusing to learn at first but with use, you realise that whilst it looks complicated, everything has a purpose and its actually quite good.

TradingView integration doesn't work very well. Orders get created in IBRKR and do not get shown in trading view!

the whole point of my opening an account with IB was for executing trades through tradingview, but it doesn't work. I sent a market bracket order through tradingview and it never appeared in my open positions, even though the position did in fact exist when I logged in to IB's portal to see what happened. I had to log out of tradingview, log in to IB and close my position through their portal. I was very excited to see that they were linked to tradingview but the connection just doesn't work reliably.

Update= I already raised tickit and disucssed with your team, L2 indicated connection issues with IBKR... however a simple feature of Take profit and SL next to position tab on chart is missing... it appears when shorting but not when Long. this can be checked and corrected if possible... Thanks
We value your business, and we're grateful you took the time to contact us about this. As of March 2, 2023, TradingView now offers Level 2 data. When initiating a new position, you can attach a stop loss and profit order within the initial order. But if that initial order has already executed then there is a limitation with TradingView that they currently addressing. This is not an issue if you use IBKR’s trading platforms as you can submit bracket orders at any time. If you are still having issues, please contact us at tradingviewsupport@interactivebrokers.com. for some reason IBR created a separate random user id for paper trading account. which is not good as the id should be same for live and paper trading account

There were login issues and afterwards - order issues. At first, the trades were placed and they were filled successfully. However, I had pending orders that were not able to be cancelled. Error messages were given to me saying "Failed to fetch. To learn more, please contact your broker". I had to login to IB desktop platform to cancel these trades. I would continue to use this on TradingView if it were more reliable but for now I will pass.

I'm constantly having issues trying to connect to IBKR, keeps saying I'm connected on some other tab or terminal (which is not the case, I triple checked) also lacking key features such as "follow the ask, follow the bid" HOTKEYS to place orders quickly if you're a scalper... DOM doesnt show much data using IBKR, overall, I just wish TRADING view could be my be all end all, but YOU STILL have to use a seperate broker platform if you truly want to trade professionally because partnerships between tradingview and other brokers are very LACKING in features and MUST HAVE functionnalities

A lot of connection issues between TY and IB. I put orders in Trading View, the order looks like it went through, but they are not showing up on charts. However, when I log into Interactive Brokers it shows them as executed. For quick trades, this is a major problem. I had trades executed and had not idea. And there was no change in my balance in Trading View, but when I went to IB, I saw the funds gone and trade finished. Hope you can fix this.
