Breaking into its all-time-high. 4. High relative strength, the stock went up +80% compared to a modest 11% increase in the index. 5. The recent reduction in volume suggests diminished supply in the market. 6. Many stocks start showing traction based on my own stock continuum. 7. We are in the early phase of a larger bull market cycle, adding tailwinds to individual stock movements. 8. The market shows a constructive advance, with 48% of stocks trading above their 200-day moving average, indicating underlying market health. 9. Significant volume on the breakout, supporting the move’s legitimacy. Considerations: While the stock exhibits a solid technical foundation, the breakout is not as robust as typically expected for a stronger move. SMDM - POWER PLAYI have my position today September 9, 2024 The reasons: 1. Low-risk pivot point 2. The stock offers a very tight entry in a power play setup 3. It surged over 250% in less than eight weeks 4. Corrects only 8% during this pause, indicating big institutions unwilling to sell their positions 4. High relative strength, outperforming the general market 5. The stock is moving on its own universe and marching to its own drummer 6. Volume dries up during the pause 7. The general market is in its bull campaign Flaw: 1. Squats below breakout level on the closing 2. No real volume on breakout It is a textbook Power Play setup, outstanding prior moves with very little sell-off on its correction. I like to see if it can hold up and reset its pivot area for another proper entry.

Moving on its own drummer, the stock went up +130% while the index only up 10%. 5. High relative strength. 6. Volume dries up as less supply coming to the market. 8. Many traction based on my stock continuum. 9. Early stage of bull market campaign. 10. The market is currently in an easy-dollar environment, where many stocks are setting up constructively and performing well. This is evident as 51% of all stocks are trading above their 200-day moving average. Considerations: While the stock exhibits a solid technical foundation, the breakout is not as robust as typically expected for a stronger move. This is a quintessential VCP with clear contractions and a defined entry point. The stock closed weak and squatted to right at the buy point, which is still within a normal range. I’d like to see if it can hold up and follow through from here.
