Volatility Gap TrackerThe Volatility Gap Tracker ( *VGT ) indicator calculates the historical volatility of an asset using the standard deviation of the natural logarithm of the closing price relative to the previous period's closing price. *VGT visualizes the HV with gap lines to highlight when the current HV has increased or decreased significantly compared to the previous period, and adds labels to show the HV value for each of those bars.
Low HV calculated by *VGT can potentially signify a potential move up or down in the price of an asset. When HV is low, it indicates that the price of the asset has been relatively stable or range-bound over the specified period of time. This can sometimes be a precursor to a significant move in either direction, as the price may be building up energy to break out of its range.
*VGT can be used for any market that TradingView supports, including stocks, forex, and cryptocurrencies. It is especially useful for traders who want to identify periods of high volatility or sudden changes in volatility , which can indicate potential trading opportunities or risks. However, it's important to note that HV is a historical measure and may not always accurately predict future volatility .
The indicator can be used under various market conditions, but is especially useful during periods of high volatility , such as market crashes or major news events. It can also be useful for traders who want to monitor the volatility of specific stocks or assets over a longer period of time.
*VGT is provided for informational purposes only and is not a guarantee of future performance or accuracy. Traders should use multiple indicators and analysis methods to make informed trading decisions. Trading involves risks and traders should always conduct their own research and analysis before making any investment decisions.

Squeeze Range: Bollinger Bands / Keltner Channels [Whvntr]Presenting Squeeze Range: Bollinger Bands / Keltner Channels
TTMSqueeze method is a volatility and momentum indicator introduced by John Carter of Simpler Trading, which capitalizes on the tendency for price to break out strongly after consolidating in a tight trading range.
How did I make this indicator? The Bollinger Bands & Keltner Channels base scripts are from the standard indicators of their class in the Technicals section... I made this indicator first then noticed there were 3 others with a similar concept, but this differs in it's unique features and application of the TTMSqueeze strategy. This indicator plots the True Range of the Keltner Channel (Customizable in 'Bands Style" in the Inputs Menu) the instances the Bollinger Bands are within the range of the Keltner channel (the market just entered a squeeze).
Featuring: customizable Moving Averages
1. Exponential (Default for both BB & KC)
2. Simple
3. RMA (MA used in RSI )
Keltner channels have a multiplier of 2 & 3 on the Chart (3 being the outer).
How do I use this indicator? Once the teal dots are inside the solid red lines this would indicate that TTMperiod of low market volatility (the market is preparing itself for an explosive move up or down). Do some research and study how to use the TTMSqueeze method by John Carter. Disclaimer: not a guarantee of future favorable results.
Colored Moving Averages With Close Signals[Whvntr][TradeStation]Plots the first time the close price is above or below the colored portion of the chosen MA. The MA's formula is from TradeStation's indicator: "Colored Moving Averages Can Help You Spot Trends" . I modified that indicator with customizations that include: Buy and Sell signals. Each time the current bar closes above the MA, while it's red (bearish), there's a Sell label at the start of that MA trend. Likewise: each time the current bar closes below the MA, while it's white (bullish), there's a Buy label at the beginning of that MA trend. You can now, also, easily see which MA you are selecting by hovering your cursor over the tooltips icon. I've included a modified Hull MA as default because I've found this SMA combination with the WMA to be a very smooth oscillation. I've also added some different types of MA's. Colored moving averages are helpful to determine when a trend may be reversing.
MA's
1 · Modified Hull MA: (SMA of the WMAs Hull Formula)
2 · Hull MA
3 · Exponential Moving Average
4 · Weighted Moving Average
5 · RMA Moving Average used in RSI
6 · Volume Weighted MA
7 · Simple Moving Average

Higher High & Higher Low (Live) ━ [whvntr]This indicator is based on the trading formation Higher high and Higher low. It dynamically displays the current price above the bar on a label.
Features:
• If the current price is lower than the previous high the label color will dim.
• If the current price is lower than the previous low the price figure will turn red.
• Completely customizable
• Inspired by the Price label written by Westy_ , I have written different functions (coding) to make this indicator what it is.
These are not buy and sell signs, it's based on the HH & HL trading formation.
Price Cross ━ [whvntr]This oscillator is an attractive way to view hidden price divergence... The formula originated from the Lark, but I have cleanly displayed this information. When the two moving averages (ema) cross with a simple moving average, you find the hidden price divergence. What kind of market should you use this in? It works well when a trend is already established.

1st Gray Cross Signals ━ Histogram SQZMOM [whvntr][LazyBear]This is the Histogram Version of one of my other indicators named: SQZ Momentum + 1st Gray Cross Signals (with arrows) Which is a modification of "Squeeze Momentum Indicator" by user: "LazyBear". In that indicator of his he described, and suggested, the use of his gray cross signals to find points of interest for trading based on the direction of momentum when the first gray cross appears... I have programmed these points, and highlighted them, for ease of use. The 1st gray cross strategy, he said , is from John F. Carter's book, Chapter 11, "Mastering the Trade".
Here we have the Histogram version, with background highlights only, and nothing on the chart, in true SQZ Momentum style.

Volume Cross ━ (For Volume Crop) [whvntr]This fulfills a request from user: iTibu to make an oscillator to go along with one of my indicators named: " Volume Crop ━ Hidden Volume Divergence ". It essentially does the same thing, without the Midline Tool , so you can better understand where the crosses are happening. Again, the hidden MACD Divergence circles formula originated from TheLark. I converted these values to volume instead of price.

Volume Crop ━ Hidden Volume Divergence [whvntr] Volume Divergence
• Formula originated from: "Hidden Price Divergence" (circles) by TheLark. I did two things to harness its
effectiveness:
• Firstly, I developed a unique way to filter out the divergence signals that were appearing on both sides of the
midline. This filter will be known as the "Midline Tool" . It filters out a lot of the false signals commonly
associated with oscillators.
• Then, I modified the default format from Price to Volume.
• The midline formula "Midline Tool" was developed by me . It adjusts in the thousands since it's volume.
Let me know in the comments if you would rater have a smaller step value than 10,000. How does it work?
Crossover then Crossunder, the arrows only appear during the first sign of hidden volume divergence once
crossing the midline. Normally, these signs appear on both side of the midline both bearish and bullish no
matter if it's on an oversold or overbought side of the spectrum... Also, let
me know in the comments if you would like for me to release an oscillator version of this
indicator for co-witnessing.
Features:
• Volume divergence
• Midline Tool©

you can afford to lose because all financial investments have risks and this is not a
guarantee that the volume divergence will be 100% all the time.
[LazyBear] SQZ Momentum + 1st Gray Cross Signals ━ whvntrI have modified LazyBears Squeeze Momentum Indicator with enhancements, plus added signals
LazyBear mentioned that in John F. Carter's book, Chapter 11, "Mastering the Trade", that "Mr. Carter suggests waiting till the first gray after a black cross, and taking a position in the direction of the momentum (for ex., if momentum value is above zero, go long). Exit the position when the momentum changes (increase or decrease --- signified by a color change)." I have done just that. Now at each "first gray after a black cross", there are now Bearish and Bullish signals.. The signals only appear in the direction of the momentum.
