The CYCLE of Market Nature

Some days, or maybe more than half of your trading days, you will find the market intention confusing, the price doesn’t show any clear intention to move in one side, or the marketplace is simply presenting a balanced state where price consolidate and moving side way, or the market is in chaos where an intensive battle between supply & demand arise but winner has yet to be unfold. When these happen, don’t beat yourself up, understand that this IS the norms of market nature, market SHOULD behave like this (chaos, disorder).

The underlying logic behind this is the market nature is always iterating within a cycle, market nature shift from disorder to order, and back to disorder. When the market is behaving in disorder nature, I can see the PA is showing characteristics of chaos where most of my concepts suddenly not working, price is violating Market Structure (breaking high & low, even the theoretical protected strong H/L), Supply & Demand is not working, price just blow through them without reason, price is stacking LQ or madly sweeping LQ. During this period, any kind of analysis become meaningless (waste of energy) as the market is not in the best condition for trading.

Amateur traders usually scratching their heads, trying hard to figure out what is happening to themselves or to their strategy, wondering why suddenly their strategy is not working, and some of them might simply jump to another strategy and think the strategy is not working anymore. Professionals are more aware of the market condition and be able to tell when the market nature has changed. When the marketplace is not friendly for trading, they simply walk away, take a break, do their own stuff instead of beating themselves up, struggling, moaning about what is happening to their strategy.
Comment:
You can’t always have a strong feeling about what is going on in the market. In fact, you never will because you are not perfect and the market is not perfect. Learn to embrace imperfection and uncertainty is one of the most significant part of your trading journey.
