Thanks for the analysis. So after working for years as a trader and port mgr looking for edge, I'm figuring that everyone is seeing the same patterns. Thing is, we're all looking at the same data and expecting historical patterns to repeat, and that's why the odds are that they won't. The BTC market (actually, all markets) has different players today, all still just as greedy or greedier than in 2017, and much quicker to react. I think it's unlikely that we ever see 100k, cuz people who bought last march at the lows will scale out (or dump) because they don't want to be left holding the bag. Better to miss the last 15% up than to miss the first 40% down. When it breaks, it's really gonna break.

@theworldinscents, Thanks for your comment. I think you are right and the market is ready for a correction soon but 100K is not impossible. Time will tell.

@Ayari, @theworldinscents, I agree with your sentiment of a correction, but what's to say that correction wont be in the form of resting price structure that is just setting up for an expansionary move to the, $100,000, this is perfectly reasonable considering the overall market capitalisation of the cryptocurrency in comparison to the stock market, the FX market or even the debt market, which crypto is a fractional shadow of the overall market cap of these behemoths,
as I see it we are in the very early stages of an overall shift and yes we can have a severe pullback this year but does it slow the progress of the overall direction and sentiment that bitcoin is starting to adopt,
just my opinion, I appreciate your thoughts

@NK008, Agree so much so that I haven't sold any of my BTC. Moreover, I put 90% of my BTC in cold storage in my safe deposit box at a bank so I wouldn't be tempted to sell.

best way, I have an investment stash (IN COLD STORAGE), a trade stash and a little higher then normal leverage stash for when a nice pullback is setting up on BTC.
