VVIX - Vol of Vol / The attempted Crush Continues

CBOE VIX VOLATILITY INDEXCBOE

Description

That said...

Good Luck Riggers, it will not work.

CBOE VVIX Index attempts to represent - volatility of volatility in as much VVIX
measures the anticipated volatility of the 30-day forward price of VIX.

Simply put - it is measuring the M1 / M2 VIX 30 Day ST Short-term Volatility.

For those of you who do not understand how the VIX is calculated, you are missing
a very important understanding we've explained here many times.

If you missed this, educate yourself.

This is Hypothetical for the VIX futures contract in that the VIX itself remains
within a Constant 30 day Maturity.

These indicators should be used as though your trading success depends upon it.

It does indeed.

We can use the Vol of Vol's range for further Information as to where Price can
gyrate into Roll / Settle.

Add it to your set of Tools if you have not, it does assist in preventing DGing.

The Divergences are Building in VVIX as well....

And Reggies know where HK leans on Divergences.

VXN 21.51 Lows are Holding... at present.

Not good for Riggers on the Trigger.

The Exits won't be large enough when the Levy Breaks.

Not there yet, but when the Noke Whoosh arrives it's going
to be something very special.

We are red on the majors. Am 60 but we’ll remember the Zeppelin tune. When the Levy breaks it will be Epic. TNX should be up slightly if it were open. looking at TLT early morning ,1.65 would have been breached. Buckle up we’re going for a ride HK

@RT1050,

Agree RT, 60 here as well, congrats on that.

The Riggers are doing everything they can to contain the 10.

Fondly remember a lotta Zep, Fool in the Rain and Bonzo's Poly drumming
my all time Fav for JB, there are many, so complex and wonderful from this
Legendary group of men who turned the Critics in Merry Ole England on their
collective heads.

LA proved them to be the best Rock Band among many.

Kashmir reimagined, spectacular, for me the LZ was truly in my top 5 of all time.

I'm a Steely Dan Guacho, saw them repeatedly and still listen to their tunes 50 years later,
an amazing aesthetic and antithetic Band unparalleled in complexity and sarcasm.

The true Hunter Killers of their Craft - IMHO.

Many others, but the FLACs are numerous for both.

Be well Amigo - HK

Every single Steely Dan record from 73 through Goucho is the reference standard in American east coast rock. If you had to pick just one, it is them. Goucho has never, I repeat never, been equaled. The complexity of the compositions with spectacular recording quality is unmatched. Must also include The Nightfly in that group.

@RT1050, Two Against Nature - I'd put up Gaslight Abbey, that is one serious of tight sh_t.

Agree, Gaucho was and remains an epic for the Dan, although, Aja remains and will forever and always be 8 minutes of my
all-time number 1 listen here.

Countdown to Ecstasy was a rush job while touring, one that lacks the clear, concise, controlled synergies of everything else.
But yeah, it is the Reference without a Doubt, I used to Demo my KEFs back then with ONLY the DAN and
piss off the poor dude on his Rega Planars demanding I listen to every Reference Track prior to making the investment

Gadd and Carlton were at their finest on Aja, simply amazing performances, Gadd's shuffle drumming was beyond surreal, he took the Purdie shuffle and amped it up.

@RT1050, Kamariad wasn't too bad either... Fagen doing Fagen
RT1050
Regarding Zeppelin, although 2 and IV get all the accolades, I am partial to the 68 first LP. Specifically “Your time is gonna come” with John Paul Jones unbelievable intro
HK_L61
@RT1050, Jones was the subtle Thunder, always tight, always right and on the boards, elegant.

They were a group of Musicians beyond compare for their Era in Rock.

I enjoyed the WHO, Stones and others... but they were just outclassed by
orders of magnitude by Page, Plant, Jones and Bonham.
RT1050
@HK_L61 Katy Lied which contained the amazing “chain lightning and Daddy ….. may be the zenith of the early records. But we are of a like mind musically. Kef 104 105 and 101 I remember fondly. Worked in High end Audio back in the day. 79-83
HK_L61
@RT1050, Then you remember the Rega Planars, one of the best tables ever made.

Katy was grand for certain, the Royal Scam was a solid spin while my partner and I
took to the Pool Halls for some degenerate gambling.

Don't know what it was about that series of tracks, perhaps the darkness...
but we used it to our advantage a great many times.

Always been a bit of a nutter for High-End Gear and owned a great amount of it.

KEFs Reference Series was the pinnacle for me back then, they were something otherworldly,
had a few KEF Refs, adored them all, wish I still had them.

Good to know you share many of the same passions Amigo.

Can't tell you how much I enjoyed this, it brings a smile to my face - far and wide.
RT1050
HK OMG. I played royal scam more than ANY other Dan lp. I never tired of it. We lost our minds coming out of Sam Goody hearing it for the first time. Try getting that feeling today. Not gonna happen!
Rega was and is a solid belt drive even today. UK engineering at a real world price. I ran Oracle, Linn and Well Tempered models. Rega holds its own against all comers.
