Overview The Annual Returns % Comparison indicator aimed to compare the historical annual percentage change of any two symbols. The indicator output shows a column-plot that was developed by two using a pine script table, so each period has pair columns showing the yearly percentage change for entered symbols.
Features - Enter [Start - End] date range. - Fill up with any two symbols. - Choose the output data whether adjusted or not. - Change the location of the table plot - Color columns by a symbol. - Size the height and width of columns. - Color background, border, and text. - The tooltip of the column value appears once the cursor sets above the specific column. As it seen below.

Great script. I wonder if you could enhance/create a new script it for monthly intervals as well. To be more precise. I'd like to see a bar diagram where I can compare for 1 ticker symbol each months of the last x years. So the x Axis would be grouped by months and instead of multiple symbol tickers to compare just multiple years in comparison (i.e.last 5years). For 5 Years the diagram would show then 5 little bars x 12 months. Or even more flexible Group by months (5 little year bars x 12 months ) or group by years (12 little months bars x 5 years) as options. For example I heard that AMD always had their best performances during the winter season. With such a Indicator you could see easily that in the last 5 years the performance in December was significantly higher than in June. Really would appreciate it. In comparison to your current indicator I think seeing monthly changes as well could add a good overview for seasonal changes instead of just the progress of the company over the last years
