Questrade has always been my broker with no issues, no commission free trader makes everything easier, they have edge specifically for day traders. Would recommend for any kind of trader! Best of luck out there!
Love for all features. It just has few bugs where chart view does not load up after when the app was inactive for a while

Q has become a lot better over the years but still trying to catch up forever imo. Face several issues on a daily basis and submit feedback doesn't look matter tbh. Login issues / Positions / Chart View issues / still high on commissions when compared with other platforms / less interactive user interface. Feel like it's mostly on maintenance off hours - hard to rely on.

Market open lag continues to be a significant issue with day trading. Lag goes away as the day goes on, so not my end, not my PC or connection. This issue has me looking at other platforms. Please address !!! I would pay for realtime data if that's the issue, but I'm not going to throw money at a hail mary.
Trading problems yesterday were on the Questrade side, not TradingView, so I am retracting that part of my previous review. The popup for review happened right at the peak of issues during market open, terrible timing. Annoying that opening trade capabiliyt on multiple charts results in warnings and errors. Can't this be made to work properly for multple charts/windows properly?
Overall good product with some room for improvement.
I really like Pine script and the ability to customize my own indicators. Backtesting of strategies is not good enough for real use, but fine for initial prototyping. No way to actually use strategies for trading, other than manual signals or sketchy third party sites.
Screeners need improvement. Several filter combinations I would like are not easy, or possible. No alerts, no real-time scanning. Hard to use as a daytrade platform with Questrade, which lacks instant buy/sell.
This is a great platform but really needs some improvement in key areas. So much potential.

Questrade has been down at least 4 times this year! Jan, Feb, Aug, and now a major lockout Sept 29. I’ve lost a lot of $$$ with the inability to be the “self directed investor” which is completely FALSE ADVERTISING! Any aspect of compensation is shot down with their supposed “agreement” saying we don’t hold their tech responsible. The tech isn’t the issue… it’s the staff behind it! No platform should be down this much! Stock market is risky, with the current admin manipulating the market makes it riskier… and then there’s the risk of QT not maintaining their platform to be useable! They owe clients BIG TIME for these ridiculous blunders!
