EVD: Should have been more careful with the volumeThere has been very low volume for the ETF. The quantity that I have is much higher than the daily volume that the ETF is trading at now.
Should have sold last year and taken a profit then in July 2022 at 0.65-0.70 after I bought at the low of 0.46.
However, at the point in time, I couldn't sell at the price it was hitting. That was a sign that the ETF has very little volume.
This can only be a lesson when it comes to trading in high-risk and low-volume stocks. Also, even if the counter showed good volume, does not mean that the volume will maintain throughout.
Volume can still decline tremendously over time.
Therefore, the important thing to note is whether something is trendy or sustainable. Sell when able to secure a profit.
It is easier to make a loss than securing a profit.
The next plan;
No choice but to hold as EV in China is expected to continue to grow. I do believe EV is the next direction of the type of vehicles moving forward. Similar from steam to petroleum engine evolution.
Hence, good to just hold for the long term.
This is also our only exposure in China. Thankfully at 3% only of our total exposure.
