Gold Update 28 JULY 2025: On The EdgeGold is accurately following the path shown in my earlier post.
Wave D respects the triangle rules, staying below the top of wave B.
Wave E appears nearly complete, even piercing the A–C support line.
This is acceptable as long as wave E stays above the wave C low at $3,251.
Keep a close eye on this invalidation point.
The target range remains unchanged: $3,900–$4,300.
Gold may still be unfolding Wave C of a triangle — don’t rushGold appears to be forming a contracting triangle pattern, and we could currently be in the midst of Wave C. In a triangle structure (A-B-C-D-E), Wave C typically unfolds as a corrective move and is often mistaken for a potential breakout phase.
However, triangles are continuation patterns, and premature entries can lead to whipsaws or false breakouts. If Gold is indeed still in Wave C, we can expect further choppy, sideways movement before the pattern completes with Waves D and E.
Patience is key — let the structure mature. A more reliable opportunity may emerge after the triangle resolves and the larger trend resumes.
GOLD - GC Weekly Recap & Outlook | 27.07.2025🧾 Weekly Recap:
• Price tapped into the 1H Demand Zone (red box) and ran the 4H swing liquidity before bouncing to clear internal range liquidity.
• This move was followed by a retracement which led to a break of the bullish trendline.
This may signal the beginning of a broader accumulation phase. Expect choppy price action targeting internal liquidity both above and below, before a clear trend resumes.
📌 Technical Analysis:
Price has closed below the bullish trendline, leading to two possible scenarios:
1. Bullish scenario (black path):
– Price runs the W C DOL (3313$) →
– Finds rejection →
– Retests broken trendline →
– Breaks above the trendline →
– Continues toward 3444$ and potentially 3474$
2. Bearish scenario (orange path):
– Price runs W C DOL (3313$) →
– Rejects from the broken trendline →
– Fails to reclaim it →
– Continues downward to target M C DOL (3256$)
📈 Setup Trigger:
Wait for clear 1H–4H supply/demand zone creation and structure shift before initiating a trade.
🎯 Trade Management:
• Stoploss: Above/below relevant supply-demand zone
• Targets:
– Bullish: 3444$, 3474$
– Bearish: 3256$

XAUUSD 4Hour TF - July 27th, 2025XAUUSD 7/27/2025
XAUUSD 4 hour Neutral Idea
Monthly - Bullish
Weekly - Bullish
Daily - Bullish
4hour - Bearish
Last week we saw a perfect setup playout and then it retraced 100% to close out the week. This is looking more bearish on the 4Hour timeframe now but we need to see how price action reacts at the 3,320 support zone first.
Here are two potential scenarios we want to see for the week ahead.
Bullish Reversal - If we are to see gold as bullish again we would ideally like to see some consolidation at the current level followed by strong bullish conviction.
We need to see convincing price action before we can begin targeting higher. Consolidation + Bullish conviction will be our best chance at a long position.
Bearish Continuation - The 4hour sure looks bearish but will it sustain? Looking ahead into the week we want to see price action push below 3,320 with bearish structure below.
I would also like to see a pattern or a few hours to a day of consolidation below 3,320. If this happens we can begin to target lower toward major support levels like 3,225.
Gold will rebound from support line of triangle and rise to 3430Hello traders, I want share with you my opinion about Gold. Following a sequence of significant upward trends and the subsequent downward corrections that defined its range, gold has entered a broad market zone of consolidation. This battleground is clearly anchored by the historically significant buyer zone around 3285 and a formidable seller zone near 3430. Currently, the asset's price action is coiling and contracting within the confines of a large symmetrical triangle, a classic pattern that signifies a period of equilibrium and energy build-up before a potential high-volatility breakout. After a recent upward rebound was decisively rejected by the upper resistance line, the price is now in a corrective descent, heading towards the crucial ascending support line of the triangle. The primary working hypothesis is a long scenario, which is based on the expectation that this downward move will find strong buying interest on this key trendline, respecting the pattern's integrity. A confirmed and strong bounce from this level would signal another complete upward rotation within the triangle is underway. Therefore, the tp is logically and strategically set at the 3430 resistance level, as it not only aligns with the formation's upper boundary but also represents the major seller zone, a natural magnet for price on such a rebound. GOLD Drops $60 – Bearish Bias Holds Below 3365GOLD | OVERVIEW
As expected, gold continued its bearish momentum, dropping from the 3430 level and delivering a move of approximately $60.
For today, the bearish bias remains valid as long as the price stays below 3365, with potential targets at 3337 and 3320.
However, if the price reverses and stabilizes above 3365, it could signal a shift to bullish momentum.

GOLD | Bullish Bias Amid Fed & Trade Policy UncertaintyGOLD | Bullish Bias Amid Fed & Trade Policy Uncertainty
Gold prices edge higher as markets weigh conflicting signals from the Federal Reserve and renewed trade policy uncertainty. Diverging opinions among Fed officials regarding the inflationary impact of President Trump's proposed tariffs have fueled demand for safe-haven assets.
While some members like Waller and Bowman appear open to rate cuts, others remain cautious about lingering inflation risks, adding to market volatility.
Technical Outlook:
Gold maintains bullish momentum above 3365. A break and hold above this pivot supports continuation toward 3375, and if momentum builds, toward 3385 and 3395.
However, any sustained move below 3365 may trigger a bearish correction toward the support zone between 3355 and 3342.

Banana republic fears, gold tests $3,400Traders now price in a 60% chance of a Fed rate cut in September, as political pressure on the central bank intensifies.
Republican Rep. Anna Paulina Luna has officially accused Fed Chair Powell of perjury, while Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent has called for a full inquiry into the institution.
Earlier this month, former Fed Chair Janet Yellen told The New Yorker that these actions “...are the ones one expects from the head of a banana republic that is about to start printing money to fund fiscal deficits.”
Amid this backdrop, gold surged past $3,390 per ounce. The 1-hour XAU/USD chart shows strong bullish momentum supported by the Ichimoku cloud: price is well above the cloud with a clean breakout and lagging span confirmation. Immediate resistance sits at $3,400, with a potential extension toward $3,440–$3,450 if bullish pressure holds.
Meanwhile, EUR/USD remains in an uptrend on the daily chart, bouncing from pitchfork support. A sustained move above 1.1700 could reopen the path toward 1.1800+.

GOLD (GC) Weekly Recap & Game Plan 20/07/2025🪙 GOLD (GC) Weekly Recap & Game Plan
📊 Market Context:
Price is currently forming an accumulation pattern.
The purple zone marks a key weekly demand zone, and I expect a potential bounce from that level.
I'm closely watching for trendline deviations to determine the directional bias.
🎯 Game Plan:
If price drops below the trendline and bounces from the weekly demand, I’ll look for longs targeting the bearish trendline.
If price taps the bearish trendline and shows clear rejection, I’ll look for shorts targeting the bullish trendline.
I'll wait for LTF confirmations before entering any position.

XAUUSD 4 hour Long Idea
Monthly - Bullish
Weekly - Bullish
Daily - Bullish
4hour - Bullish
GOLD,GOLD,GOLD. This thing has been bullish on all timeframes and doesn’t really show any signs of stopping just yet.
We can see two scenarios for the week ahead so let’s dive in:
Bullish continuation - Price action on gold is breaking out of a descending triangle pattern. This is a strong bullish move but for us to consider trades we want the confirmation.
Look for a retest of our 61.8% fib level and mostly recently broken structure. If we can spot bullish conviction coming off this level we can then consider targeting higher resistance levels like 3.395.000. Our -27% fib level lines up with this zone as well.
Bearish Reversal - For us to consider Gold bearish again we would need to see something very convincing. If we did see a break below 3,320.000 with a confirmed lower high I would then consider short scenarios.
Look to target toward major support levels on the way down to 3,225.000, our next monthly support zone.
