Updated Jonah Indices Swing Indicator
The Jonah Indices Swing Indicator is a quantitative swing trading system designed specifically for U.S. core Indices. Unlike traditional lagging technical indicators (such as MACD or RSI), this system is deeply integrated with Market Maker Hedging Algorithms and Options Skew Analysis.
In a modern financial market dominated by algorithms and high-frequency trading, this indicator aims to identify the underlying logic of institutional capital flow, helping retail traders pinpoint true trend reversals amidst market noise.
Note: The algorithm is specifically optimized for the "algo-driven" market micro structure of 2025 and beyond. (Historical signals prior to 2025 are filtered out).
【Scope】
This indicator is strictly limited to the following U.S. core assets and operates only on the Daily (1D) timeframe:
Broad Market ETFs: SPY (S&P 500), QQQ (Nasdaq 100)
Semiconductor Sector: SOXX (PHLX Semiconductor)
Their Leveraged ETFs: UPRO (3x S&P), TQQQ (3x Nasdaq), SOXL (3x Semiconductor)
【Capital Management Strategy】
This indicator is not just a signal generator; it is a discipline. We recommend the "50/50 A-B Allocation Strategy":
1. Account Allocation:
🛡️ Type A Capital (50%) - The Anchor:
Reserved for long-term Value Investing (Buy & Hold) and cash holdings. Select your own high-quality assets. Do not trade these based on swing signals.
⚔️ Type B Capital (50%) - The Hunter:
Dedicated strictly for swing trading with the Jonah Swing Indicator.
2. Execution Rules (For Type B Capital):
🟢 When BUY appears:
Deploy 50% of your available Type B capital into the signal asset.
🔴 When TRIM appears:
Sell 80% of the principal (reclaim liquidity). i.e. leave 20% of the principal + all profits in the position to let gains run in this bullish market in the long term.
