RSI2 Multi-Timeframe

This indicator tracks RSI(2) across your chart timeframe (CTF) and up to two higher timeframes (HTF1/HTF2), then highlights momentum extremes with clear visual signals.
HTF preset system
Optional preset mode automatically assigns HTF1/HTF2 based on the current chart timeframe.
Includes explicit mappings:
How to read it
Typical use
Notes
- What it does
- Calculates RSI(2) on CTF, HTF1, and HTF2.
- Supports two threshold modes:
- - Standard: 95 / 5
- - Aggressive: 90 / 10
- Uses delayed signal markers (1 bar) to reduce noise from raw threshold transitions.
- Applies “standard overrides aggressive” logic to avoid double-marking.
- Shades background when all active timeframes align in an extreme zone.
- Shows a compact status table with:
- Live RSI values for CTF/HTF1/HTF2
- Timeframe labels
- Cell coloring that matches marker timing logic
HTF preset system
Optional preset mode automatically assigns HTF1/HTF2 based on the current chart timeframe.
Includes explicit mappings:
- 3m -> 10m / 30m
- 10m -> 30m / 1H
- 1H -> 4H / 1D
- 4H -> 12H / 3D
- 1D -> 1W / 1M
- Sensible defaults are applied for other chart timeframes. You can disable presets and use fully manual HTF inputs anytime.
How to read it
- Triangle markers = standard signals.
- X markers = aggressive signals (only when standard is not present).
- Red = overbought signal.
- Green = oversold signal.
- Table colors reflect the same delayed signal timing as plotted markers.
Typical use
- Fast mean-reversion or momentum-exhaustion workflows.
- Multi-timeframe confirmation before entries/exits.
- Clean, at-a-glance monitoring of short-term RSI pressure against higher-timeframe context.
Notes
- This is a signal/confirmation tool, not a standalone strategy.
- Combine with structure, liquidity, and risk management for execution decisions.
