The Others
Grace's children have a condition that makes them extremely sensitive to sunlight, so the house is always kept in darkness. Strange occurrences begin to happen in the house, including mysterious footsteps and doors opening and closing on their own, leading Grace to suspect that the house is haunted by supernatural entities she refers to as "the others."
