Backtesting Time Period Highlighter

This indicator is designed to highlight specific time periods on any intraday chart in TradingView. It shades in the periods of the day that you choose, helping you to easily visualize when you're available to trade.
You set the start and end hours for up to three different trading periods each day. For example, if you trade between 08:00 - 12:00, 14:00 - 18:00, and 20:00 - 22:00, you would enter these times into the indicator settings.
Once you've set your trading times, the indicator calculates the corresponding time periods for each bar on the chart. It checks if the bar's time falls within your trading times. If it does, the indicator highlights (shades) the background of that bar.
The highlighted periods make it easy to see at a glance when you would have been actively trading. This can be particularly useful for reviewing your trading strategy and performance.
Remember, the time used in this indicator is in 24-hour format, and the times you enter in the settings should match the timezone of your charts in TradingView.
This indicator is an excellent tool for day traders who want to clearly see their active trading times on their charts.
