Complete Trading Rules
4.1 Entry Rules
ALL conditions must be TRUE for a signal to fire:

ORB Locked 30-min ORB period complete, high/low range captured
ATR Valid ORB range between 12-55% of daily ATR(14)
EMA Cloud BULL regime (Cloud 1 above Cloud 2) for longs, BEAR for shorts
Not Neutral Clouds must be fully separated (not overlapping)
Time Window After ORB complete, before 22:30 IST
Weekday Monday to Friday only
Daily Loss OK Cumulative daily P&L not exceeding -2% of capital
Candle Close 5-min candle CLOSE above longEntry (or below shortEntry)
4.2 Level Calculations
• Entry Buffer = 0.05% of ORB midpoint price
• Long Entry = ORB High + Buffer (trigger level; actual entry at candle close)
• Short Entry = ORB Low - Buffer
• Long SL = ORB Low (full range risk)
• Short SL = ORB High
• TP = Entry + 1.5x ORB Range (from actual entry price, not trigger level)
• R:R = 1.5:1 theoretical, 1.87:1 actual (because many TP exits exceed minimum)
4.3 Exit Rules
• TP hit: 5-min candle high reaches TP (long) or low reaches TP (short)
• SL hit: 5-min candle low reaches SL (long) or high reaches SL (short)
• Force close at 23:00 IST: exit at market (candle close price)
• MCX hard stop 23:25 IST: backup safety layer
• Morning leak killer 09:00 IST: catches any position surviving overnight
4.4 Conditional SAR (Stop and Reverse)
If a trade is stopped out with enough momentum in the opposite direction:
• Price must be beyond SL by at least 0.3x ORB Range (momentum confirmation)
• Volume must be 1.5x the 20-period average (conviction confirmation)
• Must be before SAR deadline (22:30 IST)
• Opposite direction must be allowed by EMA Cloud
• New position entered at candle close with reversed TP/SL
