Improved McGinley DynamicImproved McGinley Dynamic
Description
The McGinley Dynamic is an adaptive moving average originally developed by John R. McGinley. Unlike SMA or EMA, which use fixed smoothing, McGinley adjusts dynamically to market speed. This version includes implementation refinements and stability safeguards ensuring consistent behavior in Pine Script, along with suggested adaptations for practical trading use.
Key Features
The McGinley Dynamic indicator incorporates a smoothing factor that changes based on market volatility. This adaptive behavior is designed to move more slowly in upward markets (to help traders ride the trend longer), but speeds up when prices fall, reflecting the market's tendency for quicker downside moves. The core formula is:
md = md + (close - md ) / (N * math.pow(close / md , 4
Implementation Notes
Some public implementations of the McGinley Dynamic suffer from numerical instability under certain price conditions. This version improves consistency by adding ratio clamping, na handling and stable initialization logic.
md := nz(md ) == 0 ? ta.sma(src, length) :
nz(md ) + (src - nz(md )) /
(length * math.pow(math.max(math.min(src / nz(md ), 2.0), 0.5), 4))
How to Use (Classic Interpretation)
Traditionally, used like a moving average to spot support/resistance and align with prevailing price direction.
How I Use It — Resonant Timeframe (“The Pain”)
This interpretation does not treat the McGinley Dynamic as universally meaningful on all timeframes. Instead, timeframe selection is based on empirical respect — observing where price consistently interacts with the McGinley in a structurally meaningful way.
Method
Look for the Resonant Timeframe. They are evaluated by checking if price historically:
Treats McGinley as support or dynamic equilibrium
Interacts near candle body lows or within lower wicks.
Shows repeatable structural respect
Timeframes with random interaction are ignored. This is not parameter curve fitting we do not assume McGinley works equally well on every timeframe or instrument. No tuning is performed to optimize past results.
“The Pain”
Due to its recursive and adaptive formula, McGinley often behaves like a dynamic equilibrium level. This makes McGinley act as a pain threshold: the level where weak hands capitulate and new participants step in.
A decisive break and acceptance below the McGinley on a resonant timeframe indicate that the prior support structure has failed, allowing price to search for a new equilibrium.
Use for Short Limit Buy and general Positioning
McGinley is particularly useful for placing short limit buy orders near its line during pullbacks in uptrends, or for general directional positioning (holding above it = bullish bias). It is not a standalone entry trigger or filter — it serves as a reference level within a broader system. It is advisable to use the McGinley Dynamic in conjunction with other indicators to confirm signals and manage risks.
Recommended Settings
The indicator is controlled by a single parameter, Length (N):
Rule of Thumb: To emulate a 20-day EMA, John McGinley suggested using an N value of 10 (half the period).
Recommended Timeframe
Daily or above.

NBSG_RelativeStrength_LabelsOVERVIEW
The Relative Strength (RS) Rolling Labels is a minimalist, high-utility analysis tool that provides an at-a-glance comparison of an asset’s performance against a primary market benchmark (default: CBOE: SPX). While many traders use fixed calendar months for relative strength, this indicator utilizes Rolling Trading-Day Windows (21, 63, and 126 sessions). This ensures that your momentum data is always current and consistent, regardless of the day of the month, providing a superior signal for active day and swing traders.
KEY FEATURES
Rolling Lookbacks: Uses 21D (1M), 63D (3M), and 126D (6M) trading-day periods for a consistent rate-of-change calculation.Institutional Benchmark: Locked to CBOE: SPX by default for high-fidelity index tracking.Dynamic UI: A clean, minimalist table that stays pinned to your chart corner, providing critical data without cluttering your price action.Conditional Coloring: Instantly identify outperformance (Green) or underperformance (Red) relative to the broader market.
CALCULATION LOGIC
Relative Strength is calculated by determining the percentage return of the chart's current asset and subtracting the percentage return of the benchmark over the same rolling period:$ NYSE:RS = (\text{Asset Return} \%) - (\text{Benchmark Return} \%)$$A positive value indicates the asset is "winning" against the index, while a negative value indicates it is lagging.
USAGE
This script is best used on a Daily (D) timeframe for maximum precision, though it is programmed to pull Daily data regardless of your active chart timeframe. It is a vital tool for traders looking to "buy strength and sell weakness" by identifying assets that are holding up or leading when the broader market is under pressure.

This script is an informational tool and does not constitute financial advice. Always use proper risk management and size your positions according to your individual trading plan.

NBSG_RelativeStrength_HeatMap█ OVERVIEW
The Ranked Relative Strength (RS) Heatmap is a top-down institutional-grade analysis tool designed to identify market leadership and rotation in real-time. Unlike standard performance indicators that are anchored to fixed calendar months, this dashboard utilizes rolling trading-day windows (21, 63, and 126 days) to provide a consistent, non-lagging view of momentum across 18 key market sectors and themes.
By measuring the Rate of Change (ROC) of each asset against a core benchmark (default: CBOE:SPX), the indicator generates a Composite RS Score and automatically reorders the table. This ensures that the current market leaders are always pinned to the top, while laggards fall to the bottom.
█ HOW IT WORKS
The script calculates Relative Strength by comparing the percentage return of an asset to the percentage return of the benchmark over three distinct time horizons: • Short-Term (1M): 21 Trading Days • Intermediate (3M): 63 Trading Days • Long-Term (6M): 126 Trading Days
The Composite Ranking: The dashboard averages the performance across all three periods to determine the final rank. A ticker flashing green across all columns represents high-conviction leadership, while "Neutral" grey zones highlight assets that are tracking the index closely (+/- 1% variance).
█ KEY FEATURES
• Dynamic Sorting: Tickers automatically reorder based on performance. • Institutional Themes: Includes core SPDR sectors (XLK, XLF, etc.) and high-impact themes like Semiconductors (SMH), Regional Banks (KRE), and Bitcoin (IBIT). • Benchmark Flexibility: Fully compatible with any benchmark (SPX, QQQ, IWM, etc.) via the settings menu. • UI Controls: Adjustable table position (corners/center) and size (Small/Normal/Large) to fit any screen layout. • Neutral Filtering: Uses a grey "Neutral Zone" for performance within +/- 1% to filter out market noise.
█ SETTINGS & USAGE
• Benchmark Ticker: Set this to your primary index. For best results, use a high-fidelity feed like CBOE:SPX. • Position/Size: Use the dropdowns to move the grid so it does not interfere with your primary price action or other indicators like Unified Significance Zones. • Interpretation: Look for "Group Strength." When multiple thematic ETFs (like SMH and IGV) move to the top of the list together, it confirms a sector-wide risk-on environment.
█ DISCLAIMER
This script is a visual analysis tool and does not provide financial advice or trade signals. Past relative strength is not a guarantee of future performance.

Aggregated SVPIntroduction
The Aggregated SVP is a professional-grade Session Volume Profile designed for traders who rely on high-fidelity volume data to identify institutional support and resistance. While standard SVP tools are limited to the data of a single exchange, this indicator aggregates real-time volume from up to 9 major global exchanges (including Binance, Bybit, OKX, and Coinbase).
By combining Spot and Perpetual liquidity into a single profile, the Aggregated SVP provides a "Global Point of Control" (POC) and Value Area that represents the true consensus of the entire market, not just one isolated trading venue.
Key Features
Aggregated Volume
Experience the power of aggregated liquidity. This indicator pools volume from multiple sources to give you a definitive view of market activity.
Multi-Exchange Data: Select from the top 9 exchanges to build your profile.
Unified Market View: Merge Spot 1, Spot 2, Perp 1, and Perp 2 pairs into a single calculation.
Currency Normalization: Built-in normalization for USD, EUR, and RUB ensures that volume data remains consistent across all trading pairs.
Intrabar Precision Engine
Most Volume Profiles simply "spread" volume across a candle. The Aggregated SVP uses High-Precision Intrabar Calculation to map volume exactly where it happened.
LTF Data Inspection: By analyzing a lower timeframe (e.g., 1-minute data) inside higher timeframe candles, the profile accurately places volume in the correct price buckets.
Granular Rows: Support for up to 1000 rows per profile for ultra-fine detail on supply and demand zones.
Professional Session Analysis
Analyze any timeframe with institutional-standard levels:
Point of Control (POC): Highlights the single most important price level where the bulk of global volume occurred.
Value Area (VAH/VAL): Automatically identifies the 70% (adjustable) Value Area where institutional participants are most active.
Historical Sessions: Display past sessions to identify "Naked POCs" and unfilled liquidity gaps.
Clean & Customizable UI
Designed to be the foundation of your chart, the indicator offers deep visual customization:
Profile Appearance: Adjustable width, row height, and color transparency.
Dynamic Styling: Customize line styles (Solid, Dashed, Dotted) and widths for POC, VAH, and VAL levels.
Technical Note: Data Accuracy & TV Plans
To provide the highest level of precision, this indicator utilizes the request.security_lower_tf function.
Bar Limits: The number of historical sessions you can view with "High Precision" enabled depends on your TradingView subscription plan.
Optimization: If you experience slow loading times or hit data limits, try reducing the "Show Last X Sessions" value or adjusting the "Precision Calculation TF."

Aggregated Multi-VWAPIntroduction
The Aggregated Multi-VWAP is an advanced trading solution designed to overcome the limitations of standard, single-chart VWAP indicators. In today's fragmented markets, volume is spread across dozens of exchanges. Trading based only on your current chart's volume means you are seeing only a fraction of the real "Fair Value."
This indicator aggregates real-time volume data from up to 9 major global exchanges and combines both Spot and Perpetual data. By pooling this liquidity, it calculates a "Universal VWAP" that reveals where the true institutional average price lies across the entire market.
Core Features
Volume Aggregation
Gain a competitive edge by analyzing global liquidity instead of local data.
Multi-Exchange Support: Connect data from Binance, Bybit, OKX, Coinbase, Kraken, and more.
Spot & Perp Integration: Combine volume from multiple instruments to see the total market commitment.
Smart Normalization: Automatically converts volume into a base currency (USD, EUR, or RUB) to ensure accurate calculations across different pairs.
Flexible Math: Choose between SUM, AVG, MEDIAN, or VARIANCE to determine how volume is aggregated.
Anchored Multi-Timeframe VWAPs
Track value across all major cycles with four independent, anchored VWAP lines:
Daily, Weekly, Monthly, and Yearly anchors.
Each timeframe includes fully customizable Standard Deviation (SD) Bands to identify volatility extremes.
Clean visual design with optional background fills for Value Areas.
Volatility Candle Coloring
Instantly visualize price relation to value without looking away from the candles.
Value Area Context: Candles change color based on their position relative to the VWAP bands (Inside VA, Trending outside SD1, or Extreme exhaustion at SD2+).
Customizable Heatmap: Choose which timeframe (Daily, Weekly, or Monthly) drives the coloring logic.
Hollow Candle Mode: Optional transparent bodies for bullish candles to maintain chart clarity.
Trend Dashboard
A compact on-screen table provides an immediate overview of the market bias.
Displays the BULLISH/BEARISH status for all active VWAP timeframes.
Fully customizable positioning and color schemes to match your personal UI.
Important Technical Note: Historical Data & Accuracy
Please be aware that the accuracy of high-timeframe VWAPs (Monthly and Yearly) on lower-timeframe charts (like 1m or 5m) is subject to TradingView's bar limits.
Calculations require historical volume data. If the starting point of a Monthly or Yearly cycle is further back than your specific TradingView plan allows, the VWAP may start later or show slight deviations.
Recommendation: For the highest precision on Yearly/Monthly levels, use mid-to-high timeframe charts (15m+) where more historical data is available within the bar limit.

| OHLC | Heiken Ashi |DESCRIPTION
The | OHLC | Heiken Ashi | indicator gives a refined Heiken Ashi interpretation while preserving real price structure (OHLC). It enhances trend clarity, candle strength, and consolidation behavior, and includes a multi-timeframe (MTF) Heiken Ashi dashboard for directional context across higher timeframes.
FEATURES
🔹 Advanced Heiken Ashi Candle Engine
- Heiken Ashi candles are calculated using true OHLC data and optionally smoothed with EMA for cleaner trend behavior.
- Strong vs weak candles detected using wick structure
- Directional coloring based on candle strength
NOTE: Strong candles show no opposing wick, while weak candles reflect hesitation or pullback.
🔹 Candle Coloring (Non-Synthetic)
Instead of plotting synthetic HA candles, the script colors real chart candles based on HA logic.
This keeps:
1. Real price levels
2. Accurate highs/lows
🔹 Doji & Indecision Detection
Small-body HA candles are identified as doji and colored contextually based on the prior trend direction.
This helps highlight pauses, transitions, or potential reversals.
🔹 Consolidation / Range Detection
The script detects ranging conditions using Heikin Ashi structure:
Clusters of small candle bodies relative to range with long two-sided wicks (Doji) may occur when price consolidates before finding new value. When detected, a shaded consolidation box is drawn to visually mark balance zones and compression.
How to use: A confirmed break above or below the indecision range can signal the next directional move.
Alternatively, a sweep of one side of the range followed by a close back inside or beyond the opposite boundary often indicates a liquidity grab and potential reversal.
🔹 Multi-Timeframe Heikin Ashi Dashboard
- A compact dashboard shows HA direction across multiple timeframes:
1m, 5m, 15m, 1h, 4h, 12h, 1D, 3D, 1W, 1M
- Direction arrows: ↑ bullish, ↓ bearish, → neutral
- Color-coded cells based on candle strength and wick structure (Strong/Weak/Doji Bull or Bear candles)
This provides higher-timeframe bias without switching charts.

Dynamic Daily Open/Close Lines (with Time Zones)This indicator places two horizontal lines for the daily (or session) open and close:
If the candle CLOSES above one of those lines, that line will turn green. If the candle CLOSES below, they will turn red.
This works on any timeframe including custom ones.
Open and close presets:
New York (futures), New York RTH (regular trading hours), Asia, London, custom:
You can DEFINE YOUR OPEN AND CLOSE TIME in the settings: for instance, let's say you want your "Close" price for the futures market to be 16:00. The default is 17:00. You can just go ahead and define those times in the settings.
Because it is customizable this way, you can theoretically define whatever time for those lines and have them plot and dynamically change for you. So let's assume you're defining your overnight range and playing with different times for your custom overnight zone, to check which one works best. You can absolutely use this indicator for that. (I do have another Overnight Range indicator - you can look for that under my profile. That one lets you define your range even with let's say 4-hr candles.)
Additional customization in the settings: line style (dots, dashes, etc.) and also if you like you can make the lines static (so that they don't change color at all).
...I don't recommend dashed lines for higher timeframes because this indicator plots on the candle close, and it's just not very clear with dashed lines on high timeframes. It's fine for lower timeframes though, with that setting.
Full historical display — See color changes across your entire chart history, not just the current session
Optional labels — Show price values at each line
Extend right — Optionally extend lines to the right edge of the chart
Let me know your feedback.
Thanks :)

Liquidity Heatmap Matrix [MTF] - PhenLabs📊Liquidity Heatmap Matrix
Version: PineScript™v6
📌Description
The Liquidity Heatmap Matrix is a multi-timeframe liquidity detection and visualization tool built to identify where equal highs and equal lows are forming across up to five configurable timeframes. It solves a core challenge for smart money and ICT-style traders: knowing exactly where stop-loss clusters and liquidity pools are building — before price sweeps them.
Rather than manually scanning multiple timeframes for double tops and bottoms, this indicator automates the entire process and presents confluence-weighted liquidity zones as a heatmap overlay directly on your chart. Levels confirmed by more timeframes glow with greater intensity, giving you an immediate sense of which zones carry the highest probability of a liquidity grab.
When price sweeps through a detected level, the indicator confirms it in real time with on-chart labels, color changes, and optional alerts — turning reactive analysis into proactive trade planning.
🚀Points of Innovation
● First-of-its-kind heatmap approach that scores liquidity zones on a 1-to-5 confluence scale across independent timeframes
● Automatic merging of nearby equal levels using a percentage-based tolerance system, eliminating duplicate zone clutter
● Real-time sweep confirmation engine that detects when price pierces a level and closes back inside, validating the liquidity grab
● Dynamic zone coloring that shifts from transparent to fully opaque as more timeframes confirm the same price level
● Built-in dashboard that ranks all active levels by confluence strength and tracks bullish versus bearish sweep counts
● Comprehensive alert suite covering new equal high/low formation and sweep events for both directions
🔧Core Components
● Multi-Timeframe Pivot Engine: Runs pivot high/low detection independently on each of the five timeframes using request.security calls, then feeds results into a unified level registry
● Equal Level Comparator: Compares each new pivot against a rolling window of recent pivots using a configurable percentage tolerance to identify price levels that have been tested more than once
● Confluence Merger: When the same price level appears on multiple timeframes, the system merges them into a single zone and increments the confluence score rather than stacking overlapping boxes
● Sweep Detection Module: Monitors all active levels bar-by-bar, confirming a sweep when price breaches the zone edge and then closes back within it — filtering out false breakouts
● Heatmap Renderer: Translates each level’s confluence score into a color intensity gradient, with separate palettes for equal highs (red spectrum) and equal lows (green spectrum)
● Dashboard Table: Displays every active level in a sortable table with type, price, per-timeframe dot indicators, confluence rating, and sweep status
🔥Key Features
● Supports 5 fully independent timeframes that can be toggled on or off and set to any interval from 1 minute to Monthly
● Heatmap coloring intensity scales automatically with confluence count — single-timeframe levels appear faint while 5-TF levels are fully saturated
● Sweep labels display the direction, confluence count, confirming timeframes, and exact price of each swept level directly on the chart
● Dashboard tracks all active equal high and equal low levels sorted by confluence descending with real-time bull and bear sweep counters
● Four alert conditions cover new equal highs, new equal lows, bearish sweeps (EQH taken), and bullish sweeps (EQL taken)
● Swept zones automatically change to a distinct highlight color and freeze their right edge at the sweep bar for clear historical reference
● Old swept levels are cleaned up after 100 bars and stale unswept levels expire after 500 bars to keep the chart uncluttered
● All zone colors, widths, extension lengths, and dashboard positioning are fully customizable
🎨Visualization
● Liquidity Zone Boxes: Colored rectangles overlaid on the chart representing each equal high or equal low level — red-spectrum for EQH, green-spectrum for EQL, with opacity increasing as confluence rises
● Heatmap Intensity Gradient: Single-TF zones appear nearly transparent while 5-TF zones are fully opaque, creating a visual heat signature of where liquidity is densest
● Sweep Labels: Appear at the sweep bar with directional arrows (🔻 for EQH swept, 🔺 for EQL swept), showing confluence count, confirming timeframe list, and price
● Swept Zone Highlight: Confirmed sweeps turn the zone box to a yellow highlight color, clearly distinguishing consumed liquidity from active levels
● Dashboard Table: A compact on-chart table (repositionable to any corner) showing Type, Price, per-TF active dots (● / ○), and confluence rating for every tracked level
● Summary Footer: Bottom row of the dashboard displays total bullish sweeps, bearish sweeps, and combined sweep count
📖Usage Guidelines
● TF 1 through TF 5 Enabled — Toggle each timeframe on or off (Default: TF1 and TF2 enabled, TF3-TF5 disabled)
● TF 1 through TF 5 Interval — Set each timeframe independently (Defaults: 5m, 15m, 1H, 4H, Daily)
● Pivot Lookback Left — Number of bars to the left for pivot detection (Default: 6, Range: 1–50)
● Pivot Lookback Right — Number of bars to the right for pivot confirmation (Default: 6, Range: 1–50)
● Equal Level Tolerance (%) — Maximum percentage difference for two pivots to be considered equal (Default: 0.1%, Range: 0.01–2.0%)
● Max Pivots to Compare — Rolling window size of recent pivots checked for equal levels (Default: 5, Range: 2–10)
● Max Active Levels — Maximum number of liquidity zones tracked simultaneously (Default: 20, Range: 5–50)
● Sweep Confirm Bars — Bars to wait before confirming a sweep after price pierces a level (Default: 2, Range: 1–10)
● Show Liquidity Zones — Toggle zone box rendering on or off (Default: On)
● Show Sweep Labels — Toggle sweep confirmation labels on or off (Default: On)
● Show Dashboard — Toggle the summary dashboard table on or off (Default: On)
● Zone Width (%) — Percentage-based half-width of each liquidity zone box (Default: 0.05%, Range: 0.01–1.0%)
● Zone Extend (bars) — How far forward active zone boxes extend on the chart (Default: 50, Range: 10–200)
● Dashboard Position — Corner placement of the dashboard table (Options: Top Right, Bottom Right, Top Left, Bottom Left)
● EQH Colors — Customizable color range from 1-TF to 5-TF confluence for equal high zones (Default: Red spectrum with varying transparency)
● EQL Colors — Customizable color range from 1-TF to 5-TF confluence for equal low zones (Default: Green spectrum with varying transparency)
● Swept Zone Color — Highlight color for levels that have been confirmed swept (Default: Yellow at 30% transparency)
✅Best Use Cases
● Identifying high-probability reversal zones where liquidity has clustered across multiple timeframes before entering a mean-reversion trade
● Pre-planning take-profit targets by locating where dense liquidity pools sit above or below current price
● Filtering breakout trades by checking whether price is approaching a high-confluence liquidity zone likely to cause a sweep and reversal
● Confirming ICT and smart money concepts by visualizing where equal highs and equal lows form as institutional liquidity targets
● Setting up sweep-based alerts to get notified the moment a multi-TF liquidity level gets taken, enabling rapid reaction entries
● Using the dashboard as a real-time liquidity scoreboard during active trading sessions to track which levels remain live and which have been consumed
⚠️Limitations
● Pivot detection requires a right-side lookback, so level identification has an inherent delay equal to the Pivot Lookback Right setting
● Very low tolerance values on volatile assets may produce few matches, while very high values may create false confluences — tuning to the asset’s typical spread is recommended
● The indicator tracks up to the Max Active Levels limit, so on extremely active charts some older unswept levels may be pruned before they are reached
● Multi-timeframe security calls can increase chart loading time, especially when all five timeframes are enabled on lower-timeframe charts
● Sweep detection relies on close price returning inside the zone — wicks that pierce and immediately reverse on the same bar without closing inside may not be captured
● This tool identifies liquidity zones and sweeps but does not generate buy or sell signals — it is designed to complement your existing strategy, not replace it
💡What Makes This Unique
● Confluence-weighted heatmap visualization is a fundamentally different approach to liquidity mapping compared to simple equal-high/low markers, providing probabilistic weight to each level
● The automatic cross-timeframe merging system eliminates zone stacking and clutter that plagues most multi-timeframe indicators
● Real-time sweep confirmation with multi-bar validation filters out noise and false breakouts that single-bar detection methods frequently flag
● The integrated dashboard provides a full-spectrum situational awareness panel without needing to switch between timeframes or use multiple indicators
🔬How It Works
● Step 1 — Pivot Detection: On each enabled timeframe, the script independently identifies pivot highs and pivot lows using a configurable left/right lookback window via ta.pivothigh and ta.pivotlow functions
● Step 2 — Equal Level Matching: Each new pivot is compared against a rolling buffer of recent pivots on the same timeframe; if two pivots fall within the percentage tolerance, an equal high or equal low is flagged
● Step 3 — Cross-Timeframe Registration and Merging: Detected equal levels are registered into a central level array; if a level from one timeframe falls near an existing level, it merges by incrementing the confluence score rather than creating a duplicate
● Step 4 — Heatmap Rendering: Each active level is drawn as a zone box with color intensity mapped to its confluence score using a 5-tier gradient — more confirming timeframes produce more visually prominent zones
● Step 5 — Sweep Monitoring: Every bar, the script checks whether price has breached a zone edge and closed back inside, confirming a liquidity sweep; confirmed sweeps update the zone color, freeze the box, and generate labels and alerts
● Step 6 — Lifecycle Management: Swept levels are retained for 100 bars for historical reference then removed; unswept levels older than 500 bars are pruned to maintain chart performance and visual clarity
💡Note:
For best results, start with the default settings and adjust tolerance and pivot lookback values to match the volatility profile of your specific asset. Lower timeframe combinations (e.g., 5m + 15m) are ideal for intraday scalping, while higher timeframe setups (e.g., 1H + 4H + Daily) suit swing trading. This indicator is designed as a confluence tool — combine it with your existing strategy, order flow analysis, or market structure methodology for highest-probability trade setups. It does not produce buy or sell signals on its own.

HTF Candle Projections [LuxAlgo]The HTF Candle Projections indicator projects recent and current higher timeframe candles onto the right side of the chart, providing a clear visualization of macro trends and internal candle composition.
🔶 USAGE
The tool is designed to bridge the gap between lower timeframe execution and higher timeframe context. By projecting HTF candles into the future space (right of the current bar), traders can maintain a clear perspective on the larger trend without constantly switching tabs.
🔹 HTF Trend Alignment
Traders can use the projected candles to ensure their lower timeframe (LTF) entries align with the broader market direction. For instance, a scalp trader might only look for long setups if the current projected Daily candle is bullish. This "Top-Down" filter helps traders avoid "fighting the trend" by providing a constant visual reminder of the HTF candle's polarity and momentum.
🔹 Anticipating Reversals & Level Origins
The indicator includes connection lines that trace back from the projected HTF wicks to the exact LTF bars that established the High and Low of that period. This allows traders to pinpoint the specific price action or "order block" responsible for the HTF extrema. If price returns to the origin of an HTF wick, traders can watch for a reaction, as these levels often represent areas of significant supply or demand.
🔹 Internal Sentiment Divergence
A unique feature of this script is the "Internal Sentiment Bars." These small bars inside the HTF candle body show the ratio of bullish vs. bearish LTF bars that make up that specific HTF candle.
If a bullish HTF candle has a high bearish sentiment bar, it suggests a "weak" or "grinding" trend where sellers are actively fighting the move, potentially signaling exhaustion.
Conversely, if the sentiment bars align strongly with the HTF candle direction (e.g., a bullish candle with almost entirely bullish sentiment), it indicates a high-conviction "power move" with little resistance.
🔹 Range Play & Breakouts
The indicator highlights the absolute highest high and lowest low of the entire projected sequence with solid connection lines. These lines define the current HTF trading range. Traders can use these boundaries to identify mean reversion opportunities within the range or to prepare for high-probability breakout trades once price moves beyond these absolute levels.
🔹 Visualizing Wick Development
By observing the live development of the current HTF candle, traders can see "wicking" behavior as it happens. If the current price is far from the HTF high but the connection line remains anchored there, it visually confirms a rejection from that level. This real-time feedback is crucial for identifying if an HTF candle is closing as a "Pin Bar" or "Shooting Star" before the timeframe actually expires.
🔶 DETAILS
The script uses a custom data structure to track the Open, High, Low, and Close of the selected timeframe. It also tracks the specific bar index of the highs and lows to draw the connection lines accurately. The absolute high and low of the entire projected sequence are highlighted with solid lines to identify the "Range High" and "Range Low" of the projected window.
🔶 SETTINGS
HTF Timeframe: Sets the higher timeframe to be projected (e.g., Daily, Weekly, Monthly).
Candle Width (Bars): Determines how many bars wide each projected candle appears on the right side of the chart.
Gap Between Candles: Sets the horizontal spacing between the projected HTF candles.
Number of HTF Candles: The total number of candles to project (previous completed candles + current live candle).
Show Internal Sentiment Bars: Toggles the visibility of the internal bull/bear composition bars.
🔹 Colors
HTF Bull/Bear Body: Adjusts the colors and transparency of the main projected candle bodies.
Sentiment Bull/Bear: Sets the color for the internal composition bars (ratio of LTF closes).
Wick Color: Customizes the color of the projected candle wicks.
Connection Line: Sets the color for the dotted lines connecting HTF wicks to their LTF origins.
Absolute High/Low Connection: Sets the color for the solid lines marking the highest and lowest points of the projected set.

Momentum Shift + Exhaustion [VBS]VictoryByStrategy – Momentum Shift is designed to help traders understand when momentum is changing, not just where price is moving.
Instead of focusing on entries alone, this indicator highlights early momentum shifts, confirmed momentum alignment, and momentum exhaustion, allowing traders to time entries more precisely and avoid low-quality trades.
This script is built to work as a timing companion to trend or bias indicators, especially higher-timeframe trend filters.
Core Logic
1. Momentum Shift (SHIFT)
Momentum shifts are detected using the MACD histogram, interpreted in two ways:
Early Shift
Detects when momentum starts changing direction (histogram slope reversal), often before price fully reacts.
Confirmed Shift
Detects when momentum is fully aligned (histogram crossing the zero line), providing a more conservative signal.
Users can choose to display Early, Confirmed, or both types depending on their trading style.
2. Momentum Exhaustion (EXH)
Exhaustion signals appear when momentum remains in one direction but begins to lose strength.
These signals are not entry signals by default.
They are intended to:
Warn against chasing extended moves
Anticipate pullbacks or pauses
Improve trade management and timing
Smart Filters (Optional)
Higher Timeframe Bias Filter (MTF)
Momentum signals can be filtered to align only with the higher-timeframe trend (default: 4H).
Volume Confirmation
Signals can optionally require above-average volume to reduce low-participation moves.
Cooldown Logic
Prevents signal clustering and keeps the chart clean and readable.
Clean, Professional Interface
Overlay design (no extra pane required)
Minimal and consistent signal markers:
SHIFT → momentum direction change
EXH → momentum weakening
Optional background coloring to reflect momentum regime
Compact on-chart status panel showing:
Current momentum state
HTF bias filter status
Signal mode and legend
How to Use (Simple Workflow)
Use a trend or bias indicator to define market direction
Wait for SHIFT signals to time entries in that direction
Use EXH signals as a warning to avoid late entries or manage positions
This indicator does not predict price.
It helps traders read momentum behavior in a structured and repeatable way.
Notes
Works on all markets and timeframes
Best used as part of a broader trading plan
No repainting of higher-timeframe bias logic
