Overview
This indicator analyzes the balance of power between buyers and sellers in the market. It uses volume, price action and the relative strength index (RSI) to determine the strength of buyers and sellers, as well as to identify potential zones where one side dominates the other.
How it works
The indicator calculates the average volume over a specified period.
It determines the strength of each bar, taking into account volume and price action.
RSI is used as an additional factor to assess the strength of the trend.
Based on these factors, the "balance of power" between buyers and sellers is calculated.
When the balance of power exceeds a specified threshold, the indicator marks the beginning of the "buyer zone" or "seller zone".
How to use
Add the indicator to your chart in TradingView.
Configure the input parameters:
"Period for average volume": determines the sensitivity to volume changes.
"RSI period": affects the sensitivity of the RSI to price changes.
"Strength threshold": sets the level for determining a significant imbalance.
"Table Size": select the appropriate size of the information table.
Observe the signals on the chart:
Blue triangle up: the beginning of the buyer zone.
Red triangle down: the beginning of the seller zone.

🔶 USAGE
Definitions of Liquidity refer to the availability of orders at specific price levels in the market, allowing transactions to occur smoothly.
In the context of Inner Circle Trader's teachings, liquidity mainly relates to stop losses or pending orders and liquidity level/pool, highlighting a concentration of buy or sell orders at specific price levels. Smart money traders, such as banks and other large institutions, often target these liquidity levels/pools to accumulate or distribute their positions.
There are two types of liquidity; Buyside liquidity and Sellside liquidity .
Buyside liquidity represents a level on the chart where short sellers will have their stops positioned, and Sellside liquidity represents a level on the chart where long-biased traders will place their stops.
These areas often act as support or resistance levels and can provide trading opportunities.
When the liquidity levels are breached at which many stop/limit orders are placed have been traded through, the script will create a zone aiming to provide additional insight to figure out the odds of the next price action.
Reversal: It’s common that the price may reverse course and head in the opposite direction, seeking liquidity at the opposite extreme.
Continuation: When the zone is also broken it is a sign for continuation price action.
It's worth noting that ICT concepts are specific to the methodology developed by Michael J. Huddleston and may not align with other trading approaches or strategies.
🔶 DETAILS
Liquidity voids are sudden changes in price when the price jumps from one level to another. Liquidity voids will appear as a single or a group of candles that are all positioned in the same direction. These candles typically have large real bodies and very short wicks, suggesting very little disagreement between buyers and sellers. The peculiar thing about liquidity voids is that they almost always fill up.

Market Structure & Liquidity: CHoCHs+Nested Pivots+FVGs+Sweeps//Purpose:
This indicator combines several tools to help traders track and interpret price action/market structure; It can be divided into 4 parts;
1. CHoCHs, 2. Nested Pivot highs & lows, 3. Grade sweeps, 4. FVGs.
This gives the trader a toolkit for determining market structure and shifts in market structure to help determine a bull or bear bias, whether it be short-term, med-term or long-term.
This indicator also helps traders in determining liquidity targets: wether they be voids/gaps (FVGS) or old highs/lows+ typical sweep distances.
Finally, the incorporation of HTF CHoCH levels printing on your LTF chart helps keep the bigger picture in mind and tells traders at a glance if they're above of below Custom HTF CHoCH up or CHoCH down (these HTF CHoCHs can be anything from Hourly up to Monthly).

~~~ The Four components of this indicator ~~~
1. CHoCHs:
•Best demonstrated in the below charts. This was a method taught to me by @Icecold_crypto. Once a 3 bar fractal pivot gets broken, we count backwards the consecutive higher lows or lower highs, then identify the CHoCH as the opposite end of the candle which ended the consecutive backwards count. This CHoCH (UP or DOWN) then becomes a level to watch, if price passes through it in earnest a trader would consider shifting their bias as market structure is deemed to have shifted.
•HTF CHoCHs: Option to print Higher time frame chochs (default on) of user input HTF. This prints only the last UP choch and only the last DOWN choch from the input HTF. Solid line by default so as to distinguish from local/chart-time CHoCHs. Can be any Higher timeframe you like.
•Show on table: toggle on show table(above/below) option to show in table cells (top right): is price above the latest HTF UP choch, or is price below HTF DOWN choch (or is it sat between the two, in a state of 'uncertainty').
•Most recent CHoCHs which have not been met by price will extend 10 bars into the future.
• USER INPUTS: overall setting: SHOW CHOCHS | Set bars lookback number to limit historical Chochs. Set Live CHoCHs number to control the number of active recent chochs unmet by price. Toggle shrink chochs once hit to declutter chart and minimize old chochs to their origin bars. Set Multi-timeframe color override : to make Color choices auto-set to your preference color for each of 1m, 5m, 15m, H, 4H, D, W, M (where up and down are same color, but 'up' icon for up chochs and down icon for down chochs remain printing as normal)
2. Nested Pivot Highs & Lows; aka 'Pivot Highs & Lows (ST/MT/LT)'
•Based on a seperate, longer lookback/lookforward pivot calculation. Identifies Pivot highs and lows with a 'spikeyness' filter (filtering out weak/rounded/unimpressive Pivot highs/lows)
•by 'nested' I mean that the pivot highs are graded based on whether a pivot high sits between two lower pivot highs or vice versa.
--for example: STH = normal pivot. MTH is pivot high with a lower STH on either side. LTH is a pivot high with a lower MTH on either side. Same applies to pivot lows (STL/MTL/LTL)
•This is a useful way to measure the significance of a high or low. Both in terms of how much it might be typically swept by (see later) and what it would imply for HTF bias were we to break through it in earnest (more than just a sweep).
• USER INPUTS: overall setting: show pivot highs & lows | Bars lookback (historical pivots to show) | Pivots: lookback/lookforward length (determines the scale of your pivot highs/lows) | toggle on/off Apply 'Spikeyness' filter (filters out smooth/unimpressive pivot highs/lows). Set Spikeyness index (determines the strength of this filter if turned on) | Individually toggle on each of STH, MTH, LTH, STL, MTL, LTL along with their label text type , and size . Toggle on/off line for each of these Pivot highs/lows. | Set label spacer (atr multiples above / below) | set line style and line width
3. Grade Sweeps:
•These are directly related to the nested pivots described above. Most assets will have a typical sweep distance. I've added some of my expected sweeps for various assets in the indicator tooltips.
--i.e. Eur/Usd 10-20-30 pips is a typical 'grade' sweep. S&P HKEX:5 - HKEX:10 is a typical grade sweep.
•Each of the ST/MT/LT pivot highs and lows have optional user defined grade sweep boxes which paint above until filled (or user option for historical filled boxes to remain).
•Numbers entered into sweep input boxes are auto converted into appropriate units (i.e. pips for FX, $ or 'handles' for indices, $ for Crypto. Very low $ units can be input for low unit value crypto altcoins.
• USER INPUTS: overall setting: Show sweep boxes | individually select colors of each of STH, MTH, LTH, STL, MTL, LTL sweep boxes. | Set Grade sweep ($/pips) number for each of ST, MT, LT. This auto converts between pips and $ (i.e. FX vs Indices/Crypto). 4. FVGs:
•Fair Value gaps. Represent 'naked' candle bodies where the wicks to either side do not meet, forming a 'gap' of sorts which has a tendency to fill, or at least to fill to midline (CE).
•These are ICT concepts. 'UP' FVGS are known as BISIs (Buyside imbalance, sellside inefficiency); 'DOWN' FVGs are known as SIBIs (Sellside imbalance, buyside inefficiency).
• USER INPUTS: overall setting: show FVGs | Bars lookback (history). | Choose to display: 'UP' FVGs (BISI) and/or 'DOWN FVGs (SIBI) . Choose to display the midline: CE , the color and the line style . Choose threshold: use CE (as opposed to Full Fill) |toggle on/off Shrink FVG on fill (CE hit or Full fill) (declutter chart/see backtesting history)

•Alerts are optional for most of the levels printed by this indicator. Set them via the three dots on indicator status line.
•Due to dynamic repainting of levels, alerts should be used with caution. Best use these alerts either for Higher time frame levels, or when closely monitoring price.
--E.g. You may set an alert for down-fill of the latest FVG below; but price will keep marching up; form a newer/higher FVG, and the alert will trigger on THAT FVG being down-filled (not the original)

Overview
Equilibrium is a tool designed to measure the buying & selling pressure in the market. It is depicted as a “pressure gauge” that automatically adjusts as new candles are formed, providing a real-time indication of who's on top right now, buyers or sellers?
Background
Supply & demand is considered to be the main driving force of our modern economies, where the interaction between the two parties(sellers & buyers) leads to the determination of the fair price for a given product. Stock markets are no exception, they operate very much based around the idea of supply & demand.
In simple terms, supply refers to the availability of a product, and demand is the willingness of consumers to buy that product at a given price. It is obvious that different vendors may sell the same product at slightly different prices, and similarly, different customers may choose to buy the same product from different vendors at varying prices. The idea is that the price is allowed to fluctuate from time to time, but in a free & fair market, the price will eventually settle down to a value that makes both the parties happy. Such a state is known as the “Price-Equilibrium”, and this process is also referred to as the market mechanism.
This is the basic assumption around which this tool is based, the market is always trying to move towards a state of equilibrium.
Calculations
This tool takes a simplistic approach to estimate the degree of imbalance between buyers & sellers, here’s a brief summary of how the pressure is calculated:
- We compute the total lengths of red & green candles for a given period, i.e. price range multiplied by the volume for that candle.
- Then the distribution of each type of candle is calculated.
- Assuming more red candles denote more selling pressure, and green candles denote buying pressure, the gauge is populated cell by cell.
- As the pressure on one side increases, the intensity of the cell color also increases, signifying the extent to which one side is dominating.
How to use it
- The indicator is designed as a pressure gauge that moves up(vertical alignment) or to the right(horizontal alignment) as the buying pressure increases, and moves down or to the left as the selling pressure increases. How it is to be used & applied, that completely depends on your trading methodology. But, the general idea is that we expect the market to be in a state of equilibrium, and if that is not the case the tool will highlight that, and this is also where the opportunity lies to find suitable trades.
- Just by having an idea about who’s dominating the market currently, a trader can also pick sides wisely. Remember, the market is always striving to come back a state of equilibrium, and a slight imbalance can indicate the current trend, and more importantly, who’s more likely to make the next move.
User Settings
The tool offers some minimal configurations for the end user:
- You can choose to display the actual percentage value in the gauge(Show Text).
- You can adjust colors that denote buyers & sellers.
- You can change the layout of gauge, default is vertical(right side of the screen).
- Last, and most important, you can adjust the number of candles to traverse for calculating the pressure. Default is 50, can go upto 1000.
Trail Blaze - (Multi Function Trailing Stop Loss) - [mutantdog]Shorter version:
As the title states, this is a 'Trailing Stop' type indicator, albeit one with a whole bunch of additional functionality, making it far more versatile and customisable than a standard trailing stop.
The main set of features includes:
Three independent trailing types each with their own +/- multipliers:
- Standard % change
- ATR (aka Supertrend)
- IQR (inter-quartile range)
These can be used in isolation or summed together. A subsequent pair of direction specific multipliers are also included.
Two separate custom source inputs are available, both feature the standard options alongside a selection of 'weighted inputs' and the option to use another indicator (selected via 'AUX'):
- 'Centre' determines the value about which the trailing sum will be added to define the stop level.
- 'Trigger' determines the value used for crossing of stops, initiating trend changes and triggering alerts.
A selection of optional filters and moving averages are available for both.
Furthermore there are various useful visualisation options available, including the underlying bands that govern the stop levels. Preset alerts for trend reversals are also included.
This is not really an 'out-of-the-box' indicator. Depending upon the market and timeframe some adjustments will be necessary for it to function in a useful manner, these can be as simple or complex as the feature-set allows. Basic settings are easy to dial in however and the default state is intended as a good starting point. Alternatively with some experimentation, a plethora of unique and creative configurations are possible, making this a great tool for tweaking. Below is a more detailed overview followed by a bunch of simple example settings.

DESIGN & CONCEPT
Before we start breaking this down, a little background. This started off as an attempt to improve upon the ever-popular Supertrend indicator. Of course there are many excellent user created variants available utilising some interesting methods to overcome the drawbacks of the basic version. To that end, rather than copying the work of others, the direction here shifted towards a hybrid trailing stop loss with a bunch of additional user customisation options. At some point, a completely different project involving IQR got morphed into this one. After sitting through months of sideways chop (where this proved to be of limited use), at the time of publication the market has began to form some near term trend direction and it appears to be performing well in many different timeframes.
And so with that out of the way...
INPUTS
The standard Supertrend (and most other variants) includes a single source input, as default set to 'hl2' (candle mid-range). This is the centre around which the atr bands are added/subtracted to govern the stop levels. This is not however the value which is used to trigger the trend reversal, that is usually hard-coded to 'close'. For this version both source values are adjustable: labelled 'centre' and 'trigger' respectively.
Each has custom input selectors including the usual options, a selection of 'weighted inputs' and the option to use another indicator (selected from the Aux input). The 'weighted inputs' are those introduced in Weight Gain 4000, for more details please refer to that listing. These should be treated as experimental, however may prove useful in certain configurations. In this case 'hl-oc2' can be considered an estimate of the candle median and may be a good alternative to the default 'centre' setting of 'hl2', in contrast 'cc-ohlc4' can tend to favour the extremes in the trend direction so could be useful as a faster 'trigger' than the default 'close'.
To cap them off both come with a selection of moving average filters (SMA, EMA, WMA, RMA, HMA, VWMA and a simple VWEMA - note: not elastic) aswell as median and mid-range. 'Centre' can also be set to the output of 'trigger' post-filter which can be useful if working with fast/slow crosses as the basis.
DYNAMICS
This is the main section, comprised of three separate factors: 'TSL', 'ATR' and 'IQR'. The first two should be fairly obvious, 'TSL' (trailing stop loss) is simply a percentage of the 'centre' value while 'ATR' (average true range) is the standard RMA-based version as used in Supertrend, Volatility Stop etc.
The third factor is less common however: 'IQR' (inter-quartile range). In case you are unfamiliar the principle here is, for a given dataset, the greatest 25% and smallest 25% of samples are removed. The remainder is then treated as a set and the range is calculated by highest - lowest. This is a commonly used method in statistical analysis, by removing the extremes it is less prone to influence by outliers and gives a good representation of the main dispersion around the median. In practise i have found it can be a good alternative to ATR, translating better across multiple time-frames due to it representing a fraction of the total range rather than an average of per-candle range like ATR. Used in combination with the others it can also add a factor more representative of longer-term/higher-timeframe trend. By discarding outliers it also benefits from not being impacted by brief pumps/volatility, instead responding only to more sustained changes in trend, such as rallies and parabolic moves. In order to give an accurate result the IQR is calculated using a dataset of high, low and hlcc4 values for all bars within the lookback length. Once calculated this value is then halved which, strictly speaking, makes it a semi-interquartile range.
All three of these components can be used individually or summed together to create a hybrid dynamics factor. Furthermore each multiplier can be set to both positive and negative values allowing for some interesting and creative possibilities. An optional smoothing filter can be applied to the sum, this is a basic SWMA-4 which is can reduce the impact of sudden changes but does incur a noticeable lag. Finally, a basic limiter condition has been hard-coded here to prevent the sum total from ever going below zero.
Capping off this section is a pair of direction multipliers. These simply take the prior dynamics sum and allow for further multiplication applied only to one side (uptrend/lo-stop and downtrend/hi-stop). To see why this is useful consider that markets often behave differently in each direction, we've all seen prices steadily climb over several weeks and then abruptly dump in the process of a day or two, shorter time frames are no stranger to this either. A lack of downside liquidity, a panicked market, aggressive shorts. All these things contribute to significant differences in downward price action. This function allows for tighter stops in one direction compared to the other to reflect this imbalance.
VISUALISATIONS
With all of these options and possibilities, some visual aids are useful. Beneath the dynamics' section are several visual options including both sources post-filter and the actual 'bands' created by the dynamics. These are what govern the stop levels and seeing them in full can help to better understand what our various configurations actually do. We can even hide the stop levels altogether and just use the bands, making this a kind of expanded Keltner Channel. Here we can also find colour and opacity settings for everything we've discussed.
EXAMPLES
The obvious first example here is the standard %-change trailing stop loss which, from my experience, tends to be the best suited for lower time frames. Filtering should probably minimal here. In both charts here we use the default config for source inputs, the top is a standard bi-directional setup with 1.5% tsl while the bottom uses a 2.5% tsl with the histop multiplier reduced to 0 resulting in an uptrend only stoploss.
Shown here in grey is the standard Supertrend which uses 'hl2' as centre and 'close' as trigger, ATR(10) multiplied by 3. On top we have the default filtered source config with ATR(8) multiplied by 2 which gives a different yet functionally similar result, below is the same source config instead using IQR(12) multiplied by 2. Notice here the more 'stepped' response from IQR following the central rally, holding back for a while before closing in on price and ultimately initiating reversal much sooner. Unlike ATR, the length parameter for IQR is absolute and can more significantly affect its responsiveness.
Next we focus on the visualisation options, on top we have the default source config with ATR(8) multiplied by 2 and IQR(12) multiplied by 1. Here we have activated the switch to show 'bands', from this we can see the actual summed dynamics and how it influences the stop levels. Below that we have an altogether different config utilising the included filters which are now visible. In this example we have created a basic 8/21 EMA cross and set a 1% TSL, notice the brief fakeout in the middle which ordinarily might indicate a buy signal. Here the TSL functions as an additional requirement which in this case is not met and thus no buy signal is given.
Finally we have a couple of more 'experimental' examples. On top we have Lazybear's 'Variable Moving Average' in white which has been assigned via 'aux' as the centre with no additional filtering, the default config for trigger is used here and a basic TSL of 1.5% added. It's a simple example but it shows how this can be applied to other indicators. At the bottom we return to the default source config, combining a TSL of 8% with IQR(24) multiplied by -2. Note here the negative IQR with greater length which causes the stop to close in on price following significant deviations while otherwise remaining fairly wide. Combining positive and negative multiples of each factor can yield mixed results, some more useful than others depending upon suitable market conditions.

The trend is determined by the angle of the moving averages, current close relative the the 9 least squares ma (lsm) and the current close relative to the prior two periods high and low.
When there are consecutive closes inside the prior two candles high and low then a range is signaled:
In ranges the buy zone is between the lowest low and the lowest close of the current range. The sell zone is between the highest high and the highest close. The zones are adjusted as long as the new close is within the prior two candles range:
When price closes above the 2 high ma and the 9 lsm then a bull trend is signaled if all moving averages are angled upward (as seen at #4 in the chart above and #1 the chart below ). If the 9 lsm and / or the 2 low ma continue to angle downward, following a close above the 2 high ma and 9 lsm, then a prolonged range or reversal is expected (#2 in the chart below):
During a bull trend the buy zone is between the 2 low ma and the 9 lsm. The profit target is the 2 high ma:
During dip buying opportunities price should resist closing below the 9 lsm. If there is one close below the 9 lsm then it is a canary in the coalmine that tells us to proceed with caution. This will often signal a range, based on the conditions outlined above. To avoid a prolonged range, or reversal, price needs to immediately react in the direction of the prevailing trend:
If the moving averages are angled down and the most recent close is below the 2 low ma and 9 lsm then trend is fully bearish:
During a bear trend the short zone is between the 2 high ma and 9 lsm. The profit target is the 2 low ma:
When the 2 high ma angles down and the 2 low ma angles up while price closes inside both mas then it indicates a cma squeeze:
Volatility is expected in the direction of the breakout following the squeeze. In this situation traps / shakeouts are common. If there is a wick outside the cma, with a close inside, then it indicates a trap / shakeout. If there is a close outside the 2 high / low ma then it signals a breakout.
A trend is considered balanced when the 9 lsm is roughly equidistant from the 2 low and 2 high mas. If the 9 lsm crosses the 2 high or 2 low ma then it signals exhaustion / imbalance.
For a stop loss I use the prior three periods low, for bull trends, and the prior three periods high for bear trends. I would expect other reliable stops, such as the parabolic sar or bill williams fractal, to be effective as well. The default moving averages should be very effective on all timeframes and assets classes, however this indicator was developed for bitcoin with a focus on higher timeframes such as the 4h, daily and weekly.
As with any other technical indicator there will be bad signals. Proceed with caution and never risk more than you are willing to lose.

THE PROBLEM IT SOLVES
Most traders face these common challenges:
Challenge 1 - Indicator Overload: Running RSI, volume analysis, and divergence detection separately creates chart clutter and conflicting signals. You waste time cross-referencing multiple windows trying to determine if all factors align.
Challenge 2 - False Divergences: Standard divergence indicators trigger on every minor pivot, creating noise. Many divergences fail because they lack supporting evidence from volume or market structure.

This indicator is NOT a random mashup of popular indicators. Each of the four layers serves a specific analytical purpose and together they create a complete market structure assessment framework.
THE FOUR ANALYTICAL LAYERS
LAYER 1 - RSI MOMENTUM DIVERGENCE (Trend Exhaustion Detection)
Purpose: Identifies when price momentum is weakening before price itself reverses.
Why RSI: The Relative Strength Index measures momentum on a bounded 0-100 scale, making divergence detection mathematically consistent across all assets and timeframes. Unlike raw price oscillators, RSI normalizes momentum regardless of volatility regime.
How It Contributes: Divergence between price pivots and RSI pivots reveals early momentum exhaustion. A lower price low with a higher RSI low (bullish regular divergence) signals sellers are losing strength even as price makes new lows. This is the PRIMARY signal generator in VMDM.
Limitation If Used Alone: RSI divergence by itself produces many false signals because momentum can remain weak during continued trends. It needs confirmation from volume and structural evidence.
LAYER 2 - VOLUME PRESSURE ANALYSIS (Buying vs Selling Intensity)
Purpose: Quantifies whether the current bar's volume reflects buying pressure or selling pressure based on where price closed within the bar's range.
Methodology: Instead of just measuring volume size, VMDM calculates WHERE in the bar range the close occurred. A close near the high on high volume indicates strong buying absorption. A close near the low indicates selling pressure. The calculation accounts for wick size (wicks reduce pressure quality) and uses percentile ranking over a lookback period to normalize pressure strength on a 0-100 scale.
Formula Concept:
Buy Pressure = Volume × (Close - Low) / (High - Low) × Wick Quality Factor
Sell Pressure = Volume × (High - Close) / (High - Low) × Wick Quality Factor
Net Pressure = Buy Pressure - Sell Pressure
Pressure Strength = Percentile Rank of Net Pressure over lookback period
Why Percentile Ranking: Absolute volume varies by asset and session. Percentile ranking makes 85th percentile pressure on low-volume crypto comparable to 85th percentile pressure on high-volume forex.
How It Contributes: When a bullish divergence occurs at a pivot low AND pressure strength is above 60 (strong buying), this adds 25 confluence points. It confirms that the divergence is occurring during actual accumulation, not just weak selling.
Limitation If Used Alone: Pressure analysis shows current bar intensity but cannot identify trend exhaustion or reversal timing. High buying pressure can exist during a strong uptrend with no reversal imminent.
LAYER 3 - BEHAVIORAL FOOTPRINT PATTERNS (Volume Anomaly Detection)

Interpretation: Price briefly spikes beyond recent structure (likely triggering stop losses placed just beyond obvious levels) then reverses. This is a classic false breakout pattern often seen before reversals.

Pattern Type 3 - Exhaustion (Labeled as "SELL EXHAUST" or "BUY EXHAUST")
Detection Criteria: Lower wick is more than 2.5x the body size with volume above 1.8x average and RSI below 35 (sell exhaustion), OR upper wick more than 2.5x body size with volume above 1.8x average and RSI above 65 (buy exhaustion).
Interpretation: Large wicks with high volume and extreme RSI suggest aggressive buying or selling was met with equally aggressive rejection. This exhaustion often marks short-term extremes.

How These Contribute: When a divergence forms at a pivot AND one of these behavioral patterns is active, the confluence score increases by 20 points. This confirms the divergence is occurring during structural anomaly activity, not just normal price flow.

Why These Weights: The weights reflect reliability hierarchy based on backtesting observation. Divergence is the core signal (30 points), but without volume confirmation (25 points) many fail. Behavioral patterns add meaningful context (20 points). RSI extremes and volume spikes are secondary confirmations (15 and 10 points).
Quality Tiers:
90-100: TEXTBOOK (all factors aligned)

How It Contributes: The confluence score allows you to filter noise. You can set your minimum quality threshold in settings. Higher thresholds (75+) show fewer but higher-quality patterns. Limitation: Confluence scoring is historical observation-based, not predictive guarantee. A 95-point setup can still fail. The score represents technical alignment, not future certainty.

HOW TO READ THE INDICATOR - VISUAL ELEMENTS GUIDE

VISUAL LAYER 1 - MARKET STRUCTURE (Pivot Points and Lines)
What You See:
Small labels at swing highs and lows marked "PH" (Pivot High) and "PL" (Pivot Low) with horizontal dashed lines extending right from each pivot.
What It Means:
These are CONFIRMED pivots, not real-time. A pivot low appears AFTER the required right-side confirmation bars pass (default 3 bars). This creates a delay but prevents repainting. The pivot only appears once it is mathematically confirmed.
The horizontal lines represent support (from pivot lows) and resistance (from pivot highs) levels where price previously found significant rejection.
Color Coding:

How To Use:
These pivots are the foundation for divergence detection. Divergence is only calculated between confirmed pivots, ensuring all signals are non-repainting. The lines help you see historical structure levels.

Subtle background color shading on bars - light green or light red tint.
What It Means:
This visualizes volume pressure strength in real-time.
Color Coding:

How To Use:
When a bullish divergence pattern appears during green pressure zones, it suggests the divergence is forming during accumulation. When a bearish divergence appears during red zones, distribution is occurring. Pressure zones help you filter divergences - those forming in supportive pressure environments have higher probability.
VISUAL LAYER 3 - DIVERGENCE LINES (Dotted Connectors)
What You See:
Dotted lines connecting two pivot points (either two pivot lows or two pivot highs).
What It Means:
A divergence has been detected between those two pivots. The line connects the price pivots where RSI showed opposite behavior.
Color Coding:
Bright Green Line: Bullish divergence (regular or hidden)
Bright Red Line: Bearish divergence (regular or hidden)
How To Use:
The divergence line appears ONLY after the second pivot is confirmed (delayed by right-side confirmation bars). This is intentional to prevent repainting. When you see the line appear, it means:
For Bullish Regular Divergence:
Price made a lower low (second pivot lower than first)
RSI made a higher low (RSI at second pivot higher than first)
Interpretation: Downtrend losing momentum
For Bullish Hidden Divergence:

Colored rectangular boxes spanning one or more bars.
Purple Box: Accumulation absorption zone (high volume, tight range, bullish close)

If absorption continues for multiple consecutive bars, the box extends and a counter appears in the label showing how many bars the absorption lasted.
What It Means: Large volume is being absorbed without significant price movement. This often precedes directional breakouts once the absorption phase completes.
STOP HUNT MARKERS (Labels):
Small labels below or above wicks labeled "BULL HUNT" or "BEAR HUNT" (may show bar count if consecutive).
What It Means:
BULL HUNT : Price spiked below recent lows then reversed back up on volume - likely triggered sell stops before reversing
BEAR HUNT : Price spiked above recent highs then reversed back down on volume - likely triggered buy stops before reversing

These markers help you identify WHERE structural anomalies occurred. When a divergence signal appears AT THE SAME TIME as one of these patterns, the confluence score increases. You are looking for alignment - divergence + behavioral pattern + pressure confirmation = high-quality setup.

The label does NOT tell you to buy or sell. It tells you a technical pattern has formed and provides the quality assessment. Your trading decision must incorporate risk management, market context, and your strategy rules.
UNDERSTANDING THE THREE DETECTION MODES
VMDM offers three signal detection modes in settings to accommodate different trading styles and learning objectives.
MODE 1: "Confluence Only (Real-Time)"
How It Works: Displays signals AS THEY DEVELOP on the current bar without waiting for pivot confirmation. The system calculates confluence score from pressure, volume, RSI extremes, and behavioral patterns. Divergence signals are NOT required in this mode.
Delay: ZERO - signals appear immediately.
Use Case: Real-time scanning for high-confluence zones without divergence requirement. Useful for intraday traders who want immediate alerts when multiple factors align.
Tradeoff: More frequent signals but includes setups without confirmed divergence. Higher false signal rate. Signals can change as the bar develops (not repainting in historical bars, but current bar updates).
Visual Behavior: Labels appear at the current bar. No divergence lines unless divergence happens to be present.
MODE 2: "Divergence + Confluence (Confirmed)" - DEFAULT RECOMMENDED
How It Works: Full system engagement. Signals appear ONLY when:
A pivot is confirmed (requires right-side confirmation bars to pass)
Divergence is detected between current pivot and previous pivot
Total confluence score meets or exceeds your minimum threshold
Delay: Equal to your "Pivot Right Bars" setting (default 3 bars). This means signals appear 3 bars AFTER the actual pivot formed.
Use Case: Highest-quality, non-repainting signals for swing traders and learners who want to study confirmed pattern completion.
Tradeoff: Delayed signals. You will not receive the signal until confirmation occurs. In fast-moving markets, price may have already moved significantly by the time the signal appears.
Visual Behavior: Labels appear at the historical pivot location (in the past). Divergence lines connect the two pivots. This is the most educational mode because it shows completed, confirmed patterns.
Non-Repainting Guarantee: Yes. Once a signal appears, it never disappears or changes.
MODE 3: "Divergence + Confluence (Relaxed)"
How It Works: Same as Confirmed mode but with adaptive thresholds. If confluence is very high (10 points above threshold), the signal may appear even if some factors are weak. If divergence is present but confluence is slightly below threshold (within 10 points), it may still appear.
Delay: Same as Confirmed mode (right-side confirmation bars).
Use Case: Slightly more signals than Confirmed mode for traders willing to accept near-threshold setups.
Tradeoff: More signals but lower average quality than Confirmed mode.
Visual Behavior: Same as Confirmed mode.
DASHBOARD GUIDE - READING THE METRICS
The dashboard appears in the corner of your chart (position selectable in settings) and provides real-time market state analysis.

Enable All Visuals (Master Toggle)
Default: ON
What It Does: Master kill switch for ALL visual elements (labels, lines, boxes, background colors, dashboard). When OFF, only plot outputs remain (invisible unless you open data window).
When To Change: Turn OFF on mobile devices, 1-second charts, or slow computers to improve performance. You can still receive alerts even with visuals disabled.

Maximum Object History
Default: 50 | Range: 10-100
What It Does: Limits how many of each object type (labels, lines, boxes) are kept in memory. Older objects beyond this limit are deleted.

RECOMMENDED TIMEFRAMES AND ASSET CLASSES
VMDM is timeframe-agnostic and works on any asset with volume data. However, optimal performance varies:
BEST TIMEFRAMES
15-Minute to 1-Hour: Ideal balance of signal frequency and reliability. Pivot confirmation delay is acceptable. Sufficient volume data for pressure analysis.
4-Hour to Daily: Excellent for swing trading. Very high-quality signals. Lower frequency but higher significance. Recommended for learning because patterns are clearer.
1-Minute to 5-Minute: Works but requires adjustment. Increase pivot bars to 5-7 for filtering. Decrease max object history to 30 for performance. Expect more noise.
Weekly/Monthly: Works but very infrequent signals. Increase confluence threshold to 70+ to ensure only major patterns appear.
BEST ASSET CLASSES
Forex Majors: Excellent volume data and clear trends. Pressure analysis works well.
Crypto (Major Pairs): Good volume data. High volatility makes divergences more pronounced. Works very well.

WHAT THIS INDICATOR CANNOT DO - LIMITATIONS
LIMITATION 1 - It Does Not Predict The Future
VMDM identifies when technical conditions align historically associated with potential reversals or continuations. It does not predict what will happen next. A textbook 95-confluence pattern can still fail if fundamental events, news, or larger timeframe structure override the setup.
LIMITATION 2 - Confirmation Delay Means You Miss Early Entry
In Confirmed and Relaxed modes, the non-repainting design means you receive signals AFTER the pivot is confirmed. Price may have already moved significantly by the time you receive the signal. This is the tradeoff for non-repainting reliability. You can use Real-time mode for faster signals but sacrifice divergence confirmation.
LIMITATION 3 - It Does Not Tell You Position Sizing or Risk Management
VMDM provides technical pattern analysis. It does not calculate stop loss levels, take profit targets, or position sizing. You must apply your own risk management rules. Never risk more than you can afford to lose based on a technical signal.
LIMITATION 4 - Volume Pressure Analysis Requires Reliable Volume Data
On assets with thin volume or unreliable volume reporting, pressure analysis may be inaccurate. Stick to major liquid assets with consistent volume data.
LIMITATION 5 - It Cannot Detect Fundamental Events
VMDM is purely technical. It cannot predict earnings reports, central bank decisions, geopolitical events, or other fundamental catalysts that can override technical patterns.
LIMITATION 6 - Divergence Requires Two Pivots
The indicator cannot detect divergence until at least two pivots of the same type have formed. In strong trends without pullbacks, you may go long periods without signals.

Trading Concept
Gaps represent price zones where no trading occurred. Historical market behavior suggests that unfilled gaps may attract price action as markets tend to revisit areas of incomplete price discovery. This phenomenon creates potential trading opportunities:
Bullish gaps (above current price) may act as upside targets where the price could move to fill the gap
Bearish gaps (below current price) may act as downside targets where price could move to fill the gap
The nearest gap often provides directional bias, as closer gaps may have a higher probability of being filled in the near term

How It Works
Gap Detection : Identifies price discontinuities on every candle where:
Gap up: current candle low > previous candle high
