[TehThomas] - MA Cross with DisplacementThis TradingView script, "MA Cross with Displacement," is designed to detect potential long and short trade opportunities based on moving average (MA) crossovers combined with price displacement confirmation. The script utilizes two simple moving averages (SMA) and highlights potential trade signals when a crossover occurs alongside a strong price movement (displacement).
Why This Indicator is Useful
This indicator enhances the standard moving average crossover strategy by incorporating a displacement condition, making trade signals more reliable. Many traders rely on moving average crossovers to determine trend reversals, but false signals often occur due to minor price fluctuations. By requiring a significant price movement (displacement), this indicator helps filter out weak or insignificant crossovers, leading to more high-probability trade opportunities.
How It Works
Calculates Two Moving Averages (MA)
The user can set two different MA periods:
MA 1 (blue line): Default period is 9 (shorter-term trend).
MA 2 (red line): Default period is 21 (longer-term trend).
These moving averages smooth out price fluctuations to identify overall trends.
Detects Crossovers
Bullish crossover: The blue MA crosses above the red MA + displacement candle → Potential long signal.
Example of bullish cross with displacement:
Bearish crossover: The blue MA crosses below the red MA + displacement candle → Potential short signal.
Example of bearish cross with displacement:
Confirms Displacement (Strong Price Move)
A price displacement threshold is used (default: 1.1% of the previous candle size).
For a valid trade signal, a crossover must occur alongside a strong price movement.
Bullish Displacement Condition: Price increased by more than the threshold.
Bearish Displacement Condition: Price decreased by more than the threshold.
Visual Indicators on the Chart
Bars are colored green when there is a bullish displacement.
Bars are colored red when there is a bearish displacement.
These color changes help traders quickly identify potential trade setups.
How to Use the Indicator
Add the Script to Your Chart
Copy and paste the script into TradingView's Pine Script Editor.
Click "Add to Chart" to activate it.
Customize the Settings
Adjust the moving average periods to fit your trading strategy.
Modify the displacement threshold based on market volatility.
Change the bar colors for better visualization.
Look for Trade Signals
Long Trade (Buy Signal)
The blue MA crosses above the red MA (bullish crossover).
A green bar appears, confirming bullish displacement.
Short Trade (Sell Signal)
The blue MA crosses below the red MA (bearish crossover).
A red bar appears, confirming bearish displacement.
Use in Conjunction with Other Indicators
This indicator works best when combined with support & resistance levels, RSI, MACD, or volume analysis to improve trade accuracy.
Final Thoughts
The MA Cross with Displacement Indicator improves the reliability of moving average crossovers by requiring strong price movements to confirm a trade signal. This helps traders avoid false breakouts and weak trends, making it a powerful tool for identifying high-probability trades.

2 MA Cross Cvg Dvg Slope Overview
This indicator combines the Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD) and two Moving Averages (MAs) to assess market momentum and trend direction. It aims to provide insights into the strength and direction of price movements by analyzing the MACD line, MAs slopes, and MA crossovers. Instead of eyeballing the exact MA crossovers and MAs slope steepness on the chart and MACD line changes on separate panes, this indicator pixelate the overloaded information or multiple indicators interpretation into a KISS "boolean" decision making.
Key Components
MACD Line
This line represents the difference between the fast MA and slow MA. It reflects short-term price momentum relative to the long-term trend.
Moving Averages (MAs)
Two types of MAs are utilized in this indicator:
Fast MA (short-term): Often a 9-period MA or similar, which reacts quickly to price changes.
Slow MA (long-term): Typically a 21-period MA or similar, which smooths out price fluctuations and identifies the longer-term trend.
Indicator Logic
MA Crossover: The crossover of the fast MA above the slow MA suggests a bullish trend, while a crossover below indicates a bearish trend.
MA Slope Analysis: The indicator also considers the slopes of both the fast and slow MAs to determine the direction:
Both MA Positive Slope: Indicates upward momentum or bullish trend.
Both MA Negative Slope: Indicates downward momentum or bearish trend.
One MA Positive Slope, the other Negative Slope: Indicates indecision.
MACD Line: MACD Line consecutively increase means increasing positive momentum, vice versa.
Interpretation
Uptrend: When fast MA cross over slow MA. Indicator show "+" symbol at top zone with value 0.5.
Additional Uptrend Confirmation: When both MAs have positive slope. Indicator show only green bar.
Uptrend Upward Momentum: MACD Line increase when fast MA above slow MA. Indicator show "." symbol value 0.75.
Uptrend Downward Momentum: MACD Line decrease when fast MA above slow MA. Indicator show "." symbol value 0.25.
Indecision: When one of the MA has positive slope, but another MA has negative slope. Indicator showing both red and green bar.
Downtrend: When fast MA cross under slow MA. Indicator show "+" symbol at bottom zone with value 0.5.
Additional Downtrend Confirmation: When both MAs have negative slope. Indicator show only red bar.
Downtrend Upward Momentum: MACD Line increase when fast MA below slow MA. Indicator show "." symbol value -0.25.
Uptrend Downward Momentum: MACD Line decrease when fast MA below slow MA. Indicator show "." symbol value -0.75.
Combination of above multiple interpretation can further derive different signal for Trend Starts, Trend Continuous, and Trend Reversals.
Usage
This indicator is valuable for traders seeking to:
Identify entry and exit points based on single or multiple combination of MAs and MACD Line signals.
Confirm trend direction using MAs cross over or cross under spotted easily with the "+" symbol above 0 or below 0.
Double confirm the trend based on two MAs align slope direction.
Understand momentum shifts and potential trend reversals with an easy 4 different dots at -0.75, -0.25, 0.25, and 0.75.
Conclusion
By combining MACD Line analysis with Moving Average slopes and crossovers, this indicator offers a comprehensive approach to assessing market momentum and trend direction. It provides clear signals for traders to make informed decisions on when to enter or exit positions, enhancing overall trading strategy effectiveness without the need of referring to multiple chart or zoom in and out of the price chart to identify the crossover and slope direction.
Adaptive MA Crossover with ATR-Based Risk MarkersDescription:
The Cross MA Entry Indicator with ATR-Based Stop-Loss and Take-Profit Markers is a powerful tool designed to help traders identify trend-following opportunities while managing risk effectively. By combining customizable moving average (MA) crossovers with ATR-based stop-loss (SL) and take-profit (TP) markers, this indicator provides a complete entry and risk management framework in a single script.
Unique Features:
1. Versatile Moving Average Combinations: The indicator allows users to select from four types of moving averages—SMA, EMA, DEMA, and TEMA—for both fast and slow lines, enabling a variety of crossover configurations. This flexibility helps traders tailor entry signals to specific trading strategies, asset types, or market conditions, enhancing the adaptability of the indicator across different styles and preferences.
2. ATR-Based Dynamic Risk Management: Leveraging the Average True Range (ATR), the indicator dynamically calculates stop-loss and take-profit levels based on market volatility. This approach adjusts to changing market conditions, making it more responsive and reliable for setting realistic, volatility-based risk parameters.
3. Customizable Risk/Reward Ratio: Users can define their preferred risk/reward ratio (e.g., 2:1, 3:1) to tailor take-profit levels relative to stop-loss distances. This feature empowers traders to align trades with their individual risk management strategies and objectives, while maintaining consistency and discipline in execution.
4. Streamlined Visualization of Entry and Risk Levels: Upon a crossover, the indicator places discrete markers at the calculated SL and TP levels, avoiding clutter while providing traders with an immediate view of potential risk and reward. Small dots represent SL and TP levels, offering a clean, clear display of critical decision points.
How to Use:
1. Entry Signals from MA Crossovers: This indicator generates entry signals when the selected moving averages cross, with green markers indicating long entries and red markers indicating short entries. The customizable MA selection enables traders to optimize crossover signals for various timeframes and asset classes.
2. Integrated Risk Markers: SL and TP levels are shown as small dots at the crossover point, based on the ATR multiplier and risk/reward ratio settings. These markers allow traders to quickly visualize the defined risk and potential reward for each entry.
This indicator offers a comprehensive solution for trend-following strategies by combining entry signals with adaptive risk management. Suitable for multiple timeframes, it allows for backtesting and adjustments to ATR and risk/reward parameters for improved alignment with individual trading goals. As with all strategies, thorough testing is recommended to ensure compatibility with your trading approach.
Volume-Weighted MA Crossover [AlphaAlgos]Volume-Weighted MA Crossover
Overview:
The Volume-Weighted MA Crossover is a sophisticated trend-following indicator designed to capture reliable trend reversals and trend continuation signals using volume and price action. By combining the power of Volume-Weighted Moving Averages (VWMA) and the simplicity of Simple Moving Averages (SMA) , this indicator provides a more robust and reliable trend filter. It ensures that trend signals are supported by strong market volume, offering a deeper insight into market strength and potential price movements.
How It Works:
The Volume-Weighted MA Crossover indicator calculates a Volume-Weighted Moving Average (VWMA) of the chosen price source (typically close ), which takes into account both the price and volume of each bar. This ensures that price movements with higher volume are weighted more heavily, providing a better reflection of actual market sentiment.
In conjunction with the VWMA, a traditional Simple Moving Average (SMA) is used to filter out noise and smooth price data, providing a more stable trend direction. The crossover between the VWMA and SMA serves as the primary trading signal:
Long Signal (Bullish Crossover) : The VWMA crosses above the SMA, indicating that a strong bullish trend is likely underway, supported by increased volume and price action.
Short Signal (Bearish Crossover) : The VWMA crosses below the SMA, signaling that a bearish trend is emerging, backed by decreasing volume and price reversal.
The Volume-Weighted MA Crossover can be used as a standalone indicator or in conjunction with other tools to enhance your trading strategy, offering both trend-following and volume confirmation.
Key Features:
Volume Sensitivity : The VWMA adjusts the moving average based on volume, providing a more accurate representation of price action during high-volume periods. This makes the indicator more sensitive to market dynamics, ensuring that price movements during significant volume spikes are prioritized.
Trend Confirmation : The crossover of the VWMA and SMA offers clear and actionable signals, helping traders identify trend reversals early and with more confidence.
Clean Signal Presentation : With color-coded signal markers , this indicator makes it easy to spot actionable entry points.
Customizable Settings : Tailor the VWMA and SMA periods, volume multiplier, and source price according to your preferred market conditions and timeframes, allowing the indicator to fit your trading style.
How to Use It:
Trend Direction : Look for crossovers between the VWMA and SMA to identify potential trend changes:
Volume Confirmation : The volume-weighted aspect of this indicator ensures that trends are confirmed by volume. A bullish trend with a VWMA crossing above the SMA suggests that the upward movement is supported by strong market sentiment (high volume). Conversely, a bearish trend with a VWMA crossing below the SMA indicates a reversal is supported by volume reduction.
Trend Continuation & Reversal : This indicator works particularly well during strong trending markets. However, it can also identify potential reversals, particularly during periods of high volume and rapid price changes.
Best Timeframe to Use:
This indicator is adaptable to multiple timeframes and can be used across various market types. However, it tends to work most effectively on medium to long-term charts (such as 1-hour, 4-hour, and daily charts) where trends have the potential to develop more clearly and with more volume participation.
Ideal for:
Trend-following traders looking for reliable signals that are confirmed by both price action and volume.
Swing traders who want to enter trades at the beginning of a new trend or after a confirmed trend reversal.
Day traders seeking clear and easy-to-read signals on intra-day charts, helping to pinpoint optimal entry and exit points during volatile market conditions.
Conclusion:
The Volume-Weighted MA Crossover is an essential tool for any trader looking to improve their trend-following strategy. By incorporating both volume and price action into a VWMA and SMA crossover , it offers a more refined approach to identifying and confirming trends. Whether you're a trend follower , swing trader , or day trader , this indicator provides clear, actionable signals backed by volume confirmation, giving you the confidence to execute your trades with precision.
Screener MA CrossThe Screener MA Cross is an efficient tool designed to help traders quickly identify potential buy and sell signals across multiple currency pairs and timeframes. This script monitors the crossover behavior of two moving averages (MA8 and MA50) to determine possible entry points for trades.
Key Features:
Multi-Pair Monitoring: The indicator allows users to screen popular assets, including XAUUSD, US30, GBPUSD, EURUSD, USDJPY, USDCAD, and GBPJPY. You can add or remove symbols based on your preference.
Dual Timeframe Analysis: It tracks moving average crossovers on both 15-minute and 1-hour charts, giving users insights into short-term and medium-term trends without switching between timeframes.
Color-Coded Signals:
Green: Indicates a bullish "Buy" signal when the MA8 crosses above the MA50, suggesting upward momentum.
Red: Indicates a bearish "Sell" signal when the MA8 crosses below the MA50, signaling downward momentum.
Gray: Represents a neutral or no-cross state, indicating no clear trend.
Clean Table Format: Displays all relevant signals directly on your chart in a structured, easy-to-read table format, allowing you to quickly scan and assess trading opportunities.
How It Works: The script uses moving averages (MA8 and MA50) to analyze crossover patterns, a common method for identifying trend changes. A crossover occurs when a shorter moving average (MA8) crosses above or below a longer moving average (MA50). By requesting data from the 15-minute and 1-hour timeframes, the Screener MA Cross provides a clear overview of the market situation across various assets, helping you decide on potential trades.
This tool is particularly useful for trend-following strategies and can be used to spot momentum shifts on smaller timeframes, making it ideal for day traders and scalpers.
How to Use:
Add the indicator to your chart and customize the asset symbols to match your trading preferences.
Monitor the signals on the table. Green signals indicate potential buying opportunities, while red signals suggest possible selling points.
Use alongside other analysis: While the Screener MA Cross offers valuable insights, it's best used in combination with other indicators and analysis techniques to confirm trade setups.

RedK TrendBeads: 3 x MA Crossover Signal with Preset TemplatesRedK TrendBeads is a super simple 3 x Moving Average Crossover Signal (Long/Short/Break) script that provides a simple and effective way for traders to identify potential trading opportunities. By combining three moving averages and only exposing a simple signal, the script helps filter out noise and focus on the trend and the trade execution.
Background
===========
A 3 x Moving Average Crossover strategy is a popular trading method in technical analysis . It uses the relationship between a fast, medium, and slow moving averages to generate buy or sell signals.
The approach usually utilizes three moving averages to track the average price of a financial instrument over different time periods. By comparing the fast, medium, and slow moving averages, we can generates a signal to trade long or short
If the fast moving average crosses above the medium moving average and the medium moving average is above the slow moving average, we have a probability of an up-trend forming, and we generate a signal to go long. Conversely, if the fast moving average crosses below the medium moving average and the medium moving average is below the slow moving average, we have a probability of a down-trend forming, and we generate a signal to go short. When the moving averages are not in the right order (above or below each other), we have a trend break, usually on consolidation or base forming.
in TrendBeads, the fastest MA is called "Price Proxy MA" and will be used with a relatively short length to represent the price itself - then there are the Fast MA, Slow MA and a Filter MA (usually with the longest/slowest length) which is the main line that will be used to plot the TrendBeads - So the TrendBeads will represent the state of the other 3 Moving Average lines (Proxy, Fast and Slow) and how they are aligned - and it will also be common to use the Filter / Beads line itself as a main filter, i.e., take long positions *only* when the price action is above the Filter MA, and short positions *only* when the price is below the Filter MA.
So what is different with TrendBeads:
=====================================
Simplicity, No Clutter: I put this together to provide a super simple mechanism to track trend on the price chart without so much noise as i also wanted to have other top-chart indicators (like LadderTrader) - so TrendBeads only shows the "beads" on the chart - they act like "traffic lights" with little distracting information - Simplicity here was deliberately part if the idea
Presets, What others are Watching: The other feature I needed was the ability to track price action against "different sets" of Moving Averages quickly - for example, when executing short-term trades, I needed to use Moving Averages with shorter length and want to utilize my RSS_WMA MA type - but when assessing big breakout opportunities, I need to analyze price action against a different set of MA's with (usually) longer length and mainly SMA's (hint, The Minervini template) - This is where the built-in Preset Templates become very useful.
Having these preset templates quickly available (thru the dropdown in indicator settings) provides time saving, convenience and the confidence that we're looking at what other traders are using in their analysis - so not missing out on key-level breakouts or reversals
TrendBeads v1.0 includes the following 5 preset MA templates
======================================================
Preset 1 : RedK_1: 8RSS / 15RSS / 21RSS / 30SMA
Preset 2 : RedK_2: 5WMA / 10SMA / 20SMA / 40SMA
Preset 3 : SWNG_1: 7EMA / 21EMA / 30EMA / 50SMA
Preset 4 : SWNG_2: 10EMA / 21EMA / 50SMA / 100SMA
Preset 5 : SWNG_3: 10EMA / 21EMA / 100SMA / 200SMA
The above presets represent some of the most common sets of MA's traders use in various scenarios (Short-term/day trading, Swing, Long term / growth). Well, except for the first one since it utilizes my own RSS_WMA :) which I use in many charts
I may add some more presets in future.
below chart shows an example of different presets against AAPL for the same time range / window
There's also the ability to manually set different MA source price, MA type and length for each of the 4 MA lines. Supported MA types are SMA , EMA , WMA , HMA and my RSS_WMA
TrendBeads Usage Tips:
=====================
*If you have used any MA crossover (2 lines or 3 lines) on your chart, your should find TradeBeads very easy to use. TrendBeads works the same way except that the signal will show as colored beads on the Filter MA line instead of showing multiple crossing lines .. and that is by design.
* Feel free to expose any or all of the individual MA lines - for example, i find that exposing the Proxy Line helps in quickly finding famous chart patterns ( cup & handle , H&S ..etc)
* Experiment with the different presets depending on the type of trade you're working on (swing, long term growth candidates, day trades..etc)
* Note that in a long trend up (Aqua Beads), usually the first gray + orange sequence will usually act as a "reversal sign" - and are usually not actionable - always look for the "second" color sequence to action/trade .. Same thing for a long trend down -- get used to how the beads change color against the trend changes and play with various timeframes.
* As usual - we should have other indicators that track strength, volume , etc and ensure proper confirmation before trade execution - A good signal is only a small part of a trade - risk management and good trade execution are key to winning.
Hope some fellow traders will find this useful - feel free to leave me any comments or feedback - Good luck!
GKD-C MA Crossover [Loxx]Giga Kaleidoscope MA Crossover is a Confirmation module included in Loxx's "Giga Kaleidoscope Modularized Trading System".
█ Giga Kaleidoscope Modularized Trading System
What is Loxx's "Giga Kaleidoscope Modularized Trading System"?
The Giga Kaleidoscope Modularized Trading System is a trading system built on the philosophy of the NNFX (No Nonsense Forex) algorithmic trading.
What is an NNFX algorithmic trading strategy?
The NNFX algorithm is built on the principles of trend, momentum, and volatility. There are six core components in the NNFX trading algorithm:
1. Volatility - price volatility; e.g., Average True Range, True Range Double, Close-to-Close, etc.
2. Baseline - a moving average to identify price trend
3. Confirmation 1 - a technical indicator used to identify trends
4. Confirmation 2 - a technical indicator used to identify trends
5. Continuation - a technical indicator used to identify trends
6. Volatility/Volume - a technical indicator used to identify volatility/volume breakouts/breakdown
7. Exit - a technical indicator used to determine when a trend is exhausted
How does Loxx's GKD (Giga Kaleidoscope Modularized Trading System) implement the NNFX algorithm outlined above?
Loxx's GKD v1.0 system has five types of modules (indicators/strategies). These modules are:
1. GKD-BT - Backtesting module (Volatility, Number 1 in the NNFX algorithm)
2. GKD-B - Baseline module (Baseline and Volatility/Volume, Numbers 1 and 2 in the NNFX algorithm)
3. GKD-C - Confirmation 1/2 and Continuation module (Confirmation 1/2 and Continuation, Numbers 3, 4, and 5 in the NNFX algorithm)
4. GKD-V - Volatility/Volume module (Confirmation 1/2, Number 6 in the NNFX algorithm)
5. GKD-E - Exit module (Exit, Number 7 in the NNFX algorithm)
(additional module types will added in future releases)
Each module interacts with every module by passing data between modules. Data is passed between each module as described below:
GKD-B => GKD-V => GKD-C(1) => GKD-C(2) => GKD-C(Continuation) => GKD-E => GKD-BT
That is, the Baseline indicator passes its data to Volatility/Volume. The Volatility/Volume indicator passes its values to the Confirmation 1 indicator. The Confirmation 1 indicator passes its values to the Confirmation 2 indicator. The Confirmation 2 indicator passes its values to the Continuation indicator. The Continuation indicator passes its values to the Exit indicator, and finally, the Exit indicator passes its values to the Backtest strategy.
This chaining of indicators requires that each module conform to Loxx's GKD protocol, therefore allowing for the testing of every possible combination of technical indicators that make up the six components of the NNFX algorithm.
What does the application of the GKD trading system look like?
Example trading system:
Backtest: Strategy with 1-3 take profits, trailing stop loss, multiple types of PnL volatility, and 2 backtesting styles
Baseline: Hull Moving Average
Volatility/Volume: Volatility Ratio as shown on the chart above
Confirmation 1: MA Crossover as shown on the chart above
Confirmation 2: Williams Percent Range
Continuation: Fisher Transform
Exit: Rex Oscillator
Each GKD indicator is denoted with a module identifier of either: GKD-BT, GKD-B, GKD-C, GKD-V, or GKD-E. This allows traders to understand to which module each indicator belongs and where each indicator fits into the GKD protocol chain.

Bars Since MA Cross Can Help Trend FollowingMoving average crosses are popular signals for trend followers. Like many conditions, they tend to reverse after a certain amount of time. Today’s script is designed to help traders visualize and interpret these turns.
Bars Since MA Cross counts how many bars have passed since a fast-moving average crossed a slower MA. Bullish readings, with the faster MA above the slow, are plotted with positive numbers. The opposite is true for bearish conditions. Users can choose between simple, exponential and weighed average types. They can also mix them, comparing a fast EMA for a slower SMA, for example.
By default, it uses the 8- and 21-day EMAs.
This approach can help in a couple of ways. First, it can show divergences as a move weakens. Microsoft, in the example above, had a shorter bullish phase as it made new highs last December. This was followed by even briefer periods in January before the bear market took hold.
Likewise in May and June, Bars Since MA Cross showed shorter bearish periods before July’s counter-trend rally.
The second potential application is to know the age of a move. In this case look at September 2020. MSFT’s 8-day EMA was above its 21-day EMA for 108 days. The chart shows this was unusually long by previous examples, giving traders a sense the rally was getting long in the tooth. (MSFT would go the rest of that year without a new high.)
In conclusion, Bars Since MA Cross judges a move by its age and not its intensity. It’s a different approach that can sometimes help more than viewing simple price action.

VWAP and MA Crossover SignalsDescription: The VWAP and 20 MA Crossover Indicator is a powerful trading tool designed to capitalize on trend reversals and momentum shifts. This indicator overlays two key technical analysis tools on the price chart: the Volume Weighted Average Price (VWAP) and the 20-period Moving Average (MA).
Functionality:
VWAP: Represents the average price a security has traded at throughout the day, based on volume and price. It is a measure of the market's trend and trading volume.
20 MA: Offers a smoothed average of the closing prices over the last 20 periods, providing a glimpse of the underlying trend.
Signals:
Buy Signal: Generated when the VWAP crosses above the 20-period MA, suggesting an upward momentum and a potential bullish trend reversal.
Sell Signal: This occurs when the VWAP crosses below the 20-period MA, indicating a downward momentum and a potential bearish trend reversal.
Usage: This indicator is ideal for traders focusing on intraday and swing trading strategies, providing clear visual cues for entry and exit points based on the interaction between VWAP and the 20 MA. By identifying key crossover points, traders can make informed decisions about potential bullish or bearish movements in the market.
Application: To use this indicator, simply add it to your TradingView chart setup. The buy and sell signals will be displayed directly on the chart, allowing for easy interpretation and quick action. Adjust the settings to fit your specific trading strategy or market conditions.
[LanZhu] - MTF MAs CrossoverCredited to ChrisMoody's script ==> _CM_Ultimate_MA_MTF_V4 :)
I have modified a bit his indicator to include more MTF fast MA and slow MA crossover. I have added table to show MTF bullish and bearish status. Fast MA above Slow MA is considered Bullish and vice versa
Kindly refer to chart to see explanation of this indicator. Hopefully you guys will enjoy :)

BEST MA Cross/MACD ScreenerHello traders
Continuing deeper and stronger with the screeners' educational serie one more time
I - Concept
This is the first flexible screener I'm releasing. Screener detecting a convergence whenever the MACD and MM cross are giving a signal in the same direction.
Those who know me from TradingView ... are aware that I'm big on convergences. I totally think that 1 indicator isn't enough - whatever the timeframe.
But building my own convergence detection systems has been fruitful for me
II - How did I set the screener
The visual signals are as follow:
- square: MACD + MA cross convergence.
- diamond: Only MACD is selected
- circle: Only MA cross is selected
Then the colors are:
- green when bullish
- red when bearish
Example
Below, I highlighted why we see diamonds on the top screener panel. This is because I only selected the MACD filter
Cool Hacks
Don't forget that you can add the same indicator multiple times on your chart :)
Wishing you all the BEST trading
Dave
Ultimate MA Cross IndicatorContinue to experiment with new labels functionality in TradingView. Created ma cross script with 9 different types of MA wit additional information box. In that box, I included the bars passed from the previous bull/bear cross.
Also you cand find there live distance between moving averages in price and ATRs , so you track how close are you from the next close.
Do you think this concept is useful? What information do you want to see in this kind of boxes?
These ma types are included in this indicator:
Simple Moving Average ( SMA )
Exponential Moving Average ( EMA )
Weighted Moving Average ( WMA )
Arnaud Legoux Moving Average ( ALMA )
Hull Moving Average ( HMA )
Volume-weighted Moving Average ( VWMA )
Least Square Moving Average ( LSMA )
Smoothed Moving Average ( SMMA )
Double Exponential Moving Average ( DEMA )
KH MA Cross, Very basic script, my first actually.
8, 21, 50 MA,

Smart MA CrossoverThe Smart MA Crossover indicator is a trend-following tool designed to help traders identify high-probability buy and sell signals based on a dynamic moving average and volume confirmation.
This indicator allows traders to customize the moving average type (SMA, EMA, HMA, WMA, VWMA, SMMA, or VWAP) while incorporating an ATR-based filter for better signal clarity.
How It Works
The script analyzes price movements in relation to a selected moving average and volume conditions to generate trend-based trade signals:
🟢 Buy Signal:
- Price is trading above the moving average for at least two bars.
- A sudden upward momentum is detected (price > open * 1.005).
- Volume is higher than the 50-period SMA of volume.
- The price was trading below the moving average three bars ago.
🔴 Sell Signal:
- Price is trading below the moving average for at least two bars.
- A sudden downward movement is detected (price < open * 0.995).
- Volume is higher than the 50-period SMA of volume.
- The price was trading above the moving average three bars ago.
- When these conditions are met, a label appears on the chart, marking the potential trade signal.
Key Features
- Customizable Moving Averages – Choose between SMA, EMA, HMA, WMA, VWMA, SMMA, or VWAP.
- Dynamic Trend Detection – Moving average color changes based on trend direction.
- Volume Confirmation – Avoid false signals by filtering trades using SMA-based volume analysis.
- ATR-Based Signal Placement – Labels are positioned dynamically based on ATR values to improve visibility.
- Background Trend Highlighting – The background changes color depending on whether price is above (green) or below (red) the moving average.
- Alerts for Buy & Sell Signals – Get real-time notifications when a trade signal is generated.
How to Use
- This indicator is best suited for trend-following strategies and works across different markets, including stocks, forex, and crypto.
- It can be used on multiple timeframes, but traders should combine it with additional analysis to refine trade decisions.
- ATR-based signal placement ensures that buy/sell labels do not clutter the chart.
Important Notes
- This indicator does not predict future price movements—it is a trend-based tool meant to assist with trade decisions.
- No financial advice – Always use risk management when trading.
- TradingView users who do not read Pine Script can still fully utilize this script thanks to clear labels and alerts.
