Search in scripts for "session"
Named SessionsShows London, New York and Tokyo sessions (and optionally Sydney).
Beginner-friendly - shows names of sessions, not just colors
Marks low and high of session
Shows if session is currently open
Session names can be customized
Session label is placed above or below depending on price move during session, visually indicating the trend (also works during open session)
Is displayed only on timeframes below 4H
How it works
Session trend is calculated simply by subtracting the session's opening price from the session's closing price (or current price if session is open).
If there is a gap before the session, the previous close is used instead of the first candle's open price.
Trading Sessions with TableTrading Sessions with Table is a dynamic TradingView indicator that displays the status of major global trading sessions directly on your chart. Equity Sessions [vnhilton]Note: Numbers in the chart above, particularly volume, are incorrect as I didn't have extra market data at the time of publication. Default settings are set for US markets.
(OVERVIEW)
This indicator was made specifically for equity markets which have pre-market and after-hours trading, though can be used for any other markets without these sessions, there are many other session indicators better suited for those markets. What makes this indicator different to the hundreds of session indicators out there will be highlighted in bold in the Features section below.
(FEATURES)
- After-Hours session can start earlier if the day ends short and starts after-hours trading earlier due to holidays for example
- Sessions constrained to regular trading hours can also adjust for short days as well
- Show volume for each session and also as a percentage/multiplier of day volume, average day volume with customisable period
- Show range for each session and also as a percentage/multiplier of the daily ATR with customisable period

The background colors are the following by default:
NO COLOR : NYSE is open
DARK BLUE : NYSE is closed
LIGHT BLUE : NYSE post market session
ORANGE : NYSE pre market session
In addition, previous day close price line is shown during extended and closed sessions (orange line).
This script is useful to visualize any chart in relation to the NYSE timetable.
London_NYThis is a session indicator that is one color from beginning of London Session to end of New York Session.
forex session - Opening-Range- JayyMy first try on anything forex. Let me know if it needs adjustment.
This is Opening Range for forex
Targets set at 127% , 162%, 200 %, 262 %, 362%, 423%, 685%, 1109% and 1794%
of the selected opening range. You can adjust targets as you like in the dialogue box
362%, 423%, 685%, 1109% and 1794% levels will not show unless selected in the dialogue box.
Check any one (only one) of the time periods to change the opening range period to suit.
New York opens at 8:00 am to 5:00 pm EST (EDT)
Tokyo opens at 7:00 pm to 4:00 am EST (EDT)
Sydney opens at 5:00 pm to 2:00 am EST (EDT)
London opens at 3:00 am to 12:00 noon EST (EDT)
Because the actual forex day starts at 5pm it is not possible to plot some time periods correctly
ie try 120 minutes on the New York session. (Although this is not a problem with the other sessions)
If you keep to an hour or less and use periods that divide evenly into an hour all will be fine. All periods will actually work but will start looking a little funny.
No such problem occurs if you just use 5pm est to 5 pm est. other sessions could be put in as options or hard wired in with a few lines of script changes
There is an option in the dialogue box to display fib targets within Opening Range itself.
In the far past I adapted some original work created by Chris Moody from a 7-07-2014 script - there have been multiple adaptations . The script layout/ structure remains similar and messages regarding targets achieved (lines 224 - 230) are from the original script. In the original Chris gave Special Thanks To "The Coding Genius Behind The Curtain" - so hat tip to both.

WorldCup Dashboard + Institutional Sessions© 2025 NewMeta™ — Educational use only.
# Full, Premium Description
## WorldCup Dashboard + Institutional Sessions
**A trade-ready, intraday framework that combines market structure, real flow, and institutional timing.**
This toolkit fuses **Institutional Sessions** with a **price–volume decision engine** so you can see *who is active*, *where value sits*, and *whether the drive is real*. You get: **CVD/Delta**, volume-weighted **Momentum**, **Aggression** spikes, **FVG (MTF)** with nearest side, **Daily Volume Profile (VAH/POC/VAL)**, **ATR regime**, a **24h position gauge**, classic **candle patterns**, IBH/IBL + **first-hour “true close”** lines, and a **10-vote confluence scoreboard**—all in one view.
---
## What’s inside (and how to trade it)
### 🌍 Institutional Sessions (Sydney • Tokyo • London • New York)
* Session boxes + a highlighted **first hour**.
* Plots the **true close** (first-hour close) as a running line with a label.
**Use:** Many desks anchor risk to this print. Above = bullish bias; below = bearish. **IBH/IBL** breaks during London/NY carry the most signal.
### 📊 CVD / Delta (Flow)
* Net buyer vs seller pressure with smooth trend state.
**Use:** **Rising CVD + acceptance above mid/POC** confirms continuation. Bearish price + rising CVD = caution (possible absorption).
### ⚡ Volume-Weighted Momentum
* Momentum adjusted by participation quality (volume).
**Use:** Momentum>MA and >0 → trend drive is “real”; <0 and falling → distribution risk.
### 🔥 Aggression Detector
* ROC × normalized volume × wick factor to flag **forceful** candles.
**Use:** On spikes, avoid fading blindly—wait for pullbacks into **aligned FVG** or for aggression to cool.
### 🟦🟪 Fair Value Gaps (with MTF)
* Detects up to 3 recent FVGs and marks the **nearest** side to price.
**Use:** Trend pullbacks into **bullish FVG** for longs; bounces into **bearish FVG** for shorts. Optional threshold to filter weak gaps.
### 🧭 24h Gauge (positioning)
* Shows current price across the 24h low⇢high with a mid reference.
**Use:** Above mid and pushing upper third = momentum continuation setups; below mid = sell the rips bias.
### 🧱 Daily Volume Profile (manual per day)
* **VAH / POC / VAL** derived from discretized rows.
**Use:** **POC below** supports longs; **POC above** caps rallies. Fade VAH/VAL in ranges; treat them as break/hold levels in trends.
### 📈 ATR Regime
* **ATR vs ATR-avg** with direction and regime flag (**HIGH / NORMAL / LOW**).
**Use:** HIGH ⇒ give trades room & favor trend following. LOW ⇒ fade edges, scale targets.
### 🕯️ Candle Patterns (contextual, not standalone)
* Engulfings, Morning/Evening Star, 3 Soldiers/Crows, Harami, Hammer/Shooting Star, Double Top/Bottom.
**Use:** Only with session + flow + momentum alignment.
### 🤝 Price–Volume Classification
* Labels each bar as **continuation**, **exhaustion**, **distribution**, or **healthy pullback**.
**Use:** Align continuation reads with trend; treat “Price↑ + Vol↓” as a caution flag.
### 🧪 Confluence Scoreboard & B/S Meter
* Ten elements vote: 🔵 bull, ⚪ neutral, 🟣 bear.
**Use:** Execution filter—take setups when the board’s skew matches your trade direction.
---
## Playbooks (actionable)
**Trend Pullback (Long)**
1. London/NY active, Momentum↑, CVD↑, price above 24h mid & POC.
2. Pullback into **nearest bullish FVG**.
3. Invalidate under FVG low or **true-close** line.
4. Targets: IBH → VAH → 24h high.
**Range Fade (Short)**
1. Asia/quiet regime, **Price↑ + Vol↓** into **VAH**, ATR low.
2. Nearest FVG bearish or scoreboard skew bearish.
3. Invalidate above VAH/IBH.
4. Targets: POC → VAL.
**News/Impulse**
Aggression spike? Don’t chase. Let it pull back into the aligned FVG; require CVD/Momentum agreement before entry.
---
## Alerts (included)
* **Bull/Bear Confluence ≥ 7/10**
* **Intraday Target Achieved** / **Daily Target Achieved**
* **Session True-Close Retests** (Sydney/Tokyo/London/NY)
*(Keep alerts “Once per bar” unless you specifically want intrabar triggers.)*
---
## Setup Tips
* **UTC**: Choose the reference that matches how you track sessions (default UTC+2).
* **Volume threshold**: 2.0× is a strong baseline; raise for noisy alts, lower for majors.
* **CVD smoothing**: 14–24 for scalps; 24–34 for slower markets.
* **ATR lengths**: Keep defaults unless your asset has a persistent regime shift.
---
## Why this framework?
Because **timing (sessions)**, **truth (flow)**, and **location (value/FVG)** together beat any single signal. You get *who is trading*, *how strong the push is*, and *where risk lives*—on one screen—so execution is faster and cleaner.

**Disclaimer**: Educational use only. Not financial advice. Markets are risky—backtest and size responsibly.
Custom Time Range HighlightThis indicator highlights specific time ranges on your TradingView chart with customizable background colors and labels, making it easier to identify key trading sessions and ICT (Inner Circle Trader) Killzones. It is designed for traders who want to mark important market hours, such as major sessions (Asia, New York, London) or high-volatility Killzones, with full control over activation, timing, colors, and transparency.
Features
Customizable Time Ranges: Define up to 9 different time ranges, including one custom range, three major market sessions (Asia, New York, London), and five ICT Killzones (Asia, NY Open, NY Close, London Open, London Close).
Individual Activation: Enable or disable each time range independently via checkboxes in the settings. By default, only the ICT Killzones are active.
Custom Colors and Transparency: Set unique background and label colors for each range, with adjustable transparency for both.
Labeled Time Ranges: Each active range is marked with a customizable label at the start of the period, displayed above the chart for easy identification.
Priority Handling: If multiple ranges overlap, the range with the higher number (e.g., Asia Killzone over Custom Range) determines the background color.
CET Time Zone: Time ranges are based on Central European Time (CET, Europe/Vienna). Adjust the hours and minutes to match your trading needs.
Settings
The indicator settings are organized into three groups for clarity:
Custom Range: A flexible range (default: 15:30–18:00 CET) for user-defined periods.
Session - Asia, NY, London: Major market sessions (Asia: 01:00–10:00, New York: 14:00–23:00, London: 09:00–18:00 CET).
ICT Killzones - Asia, NY, London: High-volatility periods (NY Open: 13:00–16:00, NY Close: 20:00–23:00, London Open: 08:00–11:00, London Close: 16:00–18:00, Asia: 02:00–05:00 CET).
For each range, you can:
Toggle activation (default: only ICT Killzones enabled).
Adjust start and end times (hours and minutes).
Customize the label text.
Choose background and label colors with transparency levels (0–100).
How to Use
Add the indicator to your chart.
Open the settings to enable/disable specific ranges, adjust their times, or customize colors and labels.
The chart will highlight active time ranges with the selected background colors and display labels at the start of each range.
Use it to focus on key trading periods, such as ICT Killzones for high-probability setups or major sessions for market analysis.
Notes
Ensure your time ranges align with your trading instrument’s session times.
Overlapping ranges prioritize higher-numbered ranges (e.g., Asia Killzone overrides London Session).
Ideal for day traders, scalpers, or ICT strategy followers who need clear visual cues for specific market hours.

AMD Session Structure Levels# Market Structure & Manipulation Probability Indicator
## Overview
This advanced indicator is designed for traders who want a systematic approach to analyzing market structure, identifying manipulation, and assessing probability-based trade setups. It incorporates four core components:
### 1. Session Price Action Analysis
- Tracks **OHLC (Open, High, Low, Close)** within defined sessions.
- Implements a **dual tracking system**:
- **Official session levels** (fixed from the session open to close).
- **Real-time max/min tracking** to differentiate between temporary spikes and real price acceptance.
### 2. Market Manipulation Detection
- Identifies **manipulative price action** using the relationship between the open and close:
- If **price closes below open** → assumes **upward manipulation**, followed by **downward distribution**.
- If **price closes above open** → assumes **downward manipulation**, followed by **upward distribution**.
- Normalized using **ATR**, ensuring adaptability across different volatility conditions.
### 3. Probability Engine
- Tracks **historical wick ratios** to assess trend vs. reversal conditions.
- Calculates **conditional probabilities** for price moves.
- Uses a **special threshold system (0.45 and 0.03)** for reversal signals.
- Provides **real-time probability updates** to enhance trade decision-making.
### 4. Market Condition Classification
- Classifies market conditions using a **wick-to-body ratio**:
```pine
wick_to_body_ratio = open > close ? upper_wick / (high - low) : lower_wick / (high - low)
```
- **Low ratio (<0.25)** → Likely a **trend day**.
- **High ratio (>0.25)** → Likely a **range day**.
---
## Why This Indicator Stands Out
### ✅ Smarter Level Detection
- Uses **ATR-based dynamic levels** instead of static support/resistance.
- Differentiates **manipulation from distribution** for better decision-making.
- Updates probabilities **in real-time**.
### ✅ Memory-Efficient Design
- Implements **circular buffers** to maintain efficiency:
```pine
var float manipUp = array.new_float(lookbackPeriod, 0.0)
var float manipDown = array.new_float(lookbackPeriod, 0.0)
```
- Ensures **constant memory usage**, even over extended trading sessions.
### ✅ Advanced Probability Calculation
- Utilizes **conditional probabilities** instead of simple averages.
- Incorporates **market context** through wick analysis.
- Provides **actionable signals** via a probability table.
---
## Trading Strategy Guide
### **Best Entry Setups**
✅ Wait for **price to approach manipulation levels**.
✅ Confirm using the **probability table**.
✅ Check the **wick ratio for context**.
✅ Enter when **conditional probability aligns**.
### **Smart Exit Management**
✅ Use **distribution levels** as **profit targets**.
✅ Scale out **when probabilities shift**.
✅ Monitor **wick percentiles** for confirmation.
### **Risk Management**
✅ Size positions based on **probability readings**.
✅ Place stops at **manipulation levels**.
✅ Adjust position size based on **trend vs. range classification**.
---
## Configuration Tips
### **Session Settings**
```pine
sessionTime = input.session("0830-1500", "Session Hours")
weekDays = input.string("23456", "Active Days")
```
- Match these to your **primary trading session**.
- Adjust for different **market opens** if needed.
### **Analysis Parameters**
```pine
lookbackPeriod = input.int(50, "Lookback Period")
low_threshold = input.float(0.25, "Trend/Range Threshold")
```
- **50 periods** is a good starting point but can be optimized per instrument.
- The **0.25 threshold** is ideal for most markets but may need adjustments.
---
## Market Structure Breakdown
### **Trend/Continuation Days**
- **Characteristics:**
✅ Small **opposing wicks** (minimal counter-pressure).
✅ Clean, **directional price movement**.
- **Bullish Trend Day Example:**
✅ Small **lower wicks** (minimal downward pressure).
✅ Strong **closes near the highs** → **Buyers in control**.
- **Bearish Trend Day Example:**
✅ Small **upper wicks** (minimal upward pressure).
✅ Strong **closes near the lows** → **Sellers in control**.
### **Reversal Days**
- **Characteristics:**
✅ **Large opposing wicks** → Failed momentum in the initial direction.
- **Bullish Reversal Example:**
✅ **Large upper wick early**.
✅ **Strong close from the lows** → **Sellers failed to maintain control**.
- **Bearish Reversal Example:**
✅ **Large lower wick early**.
✅ **Weak close from the highs** → **Buyers failed to maintain control**.
---
## Summary
This indicator systematically quantifies market structure by measuring **manipulation, distribution, and probability-driven trade setups**. Unlike traditional indicators, it adapts dynamically using **ATR, historical probabilities, and real-time tracking** to offer a structured, data-driven approach to trading.

CVD Flow Labels for Sessions Ranges [AMT Edition]CVD Flow Labels for Session Ranges
Description:
This script provides a session-aware Cumulative Volume Delta (CVD) analysis designed to enhance the “Session Ranges ” framework by combining price extremes with detailed volume flow dynamics. Unlike generic trend or scalping indicators, this tool focuses on identifying aggressive buying and selling pressure, distinguishing between absorption (failed auctions where aggressive flows are rejected) and acceptance (confirmed continuation of flows).
How it works:
CVD Calculation: The script calculates delta for each bar using a choice of Total, Periodic, or EMA-based cumulative methods. Delta represents the net difference between estimated buying and selling volume per bar.
Normalization: By normalizing delta relative to recent volatility, it highlights extreme flows that are statistically significant, making large shifts in market sentiment easier to spot.
Session-Specific Analysis: The indicator separates Asia, London, and New York sessions to allow context-sensitive interpretation of price and volume interactions. Each session’s extremes are monitored, and flow labels are plotted relative to these extremes.
Flow Labels: Bullish and bearish absorption (“ABS”) and acceptance (“ACC WEAK/STRONG”) labels provide immediate visual cues about whether aggressive flows are being absorbed or accepted at key price levels.
Alerts: Configurable alerts trigger when absorption or acceptance occurs, supporting active trading or strategy automation.
Originality & Usefulness:
This script is original because it integrates volume-based auction theory with session-specific market structure, rather than simply showing trend or scalping signals. By combining CVD dynamics with session extreme levels from the “Session Ranges ” script, traders can:
Identify where price is likely to be accepted or rejected.
Confirm aggressive buying or selling flows before entering trades.
Time entries near session extremes with higher probability setups.
How to use:
Apply the “Session Ranges ” to see session highs, lows, and interaction lines.
Use this CVD Flow Labels script to visualize absorption and acceptance at these session levels.
Enter trades based on alignment of session extremes and flow signals:
Absorption at a session extreme may indicate a potential reversal.
Acceptance suggests continuation in the direction of the flow.
Alerts can help manage trades without constant screen monitoring.
This tool is designed to give traders a structured, session-based view of market auctions, providing actionable insights that go beyond typical trend-following or scalping methods. It emphasizes flow analysis and statistical extremes, enabling traders to make more informed decisions grounded in market microstructure.
