Common Dividends Paid represent the total cash dividends to common shareholders of the company.
They include:
- Distributions to REIT unit holders;
 - Distributions to partners;
 - Distributions to hybrid capital;
 - Dividend equivalents (payments-in-lieu of dividends) to restricted stock units;
 - Dividends paid to profit-participating preferred shares.
