Dividend tips
When the system detects missing dividends, you will see new Portfolio Tips on the main page:

Criteria for suggesting dividend additions
- Suggestions are generated for assets in your portfolio from the start of ownership to the end of ownership for closed positions, and up to the current date for open positions.
- The start of ownership is determined by the Ex-dividend date (exclusive). In other words, you must own the asset before the Ex-dividend date to be eligible for dividends.
- A suggestion will not appear if you have manually added a dividend transaction during the period from the Payment date to Payment date + 7 days (inclusive). For example:
- NASDAQ: NVDA
- Ex-dividend date – Jun 11, 2025
- Payment date – Jul 3, 2025 If you manually added a dividend transaction between Jul 3, 2025, and Jul 9, 2025, the Dividend Tip will not appear.
- NASDAQ: NVDA
- Suggestions will not appear for Payment dates in the future relative to the calculation date. Once the Payment date arrives, the suggestion will appear and you will be able to add it.
How to add dividends using a tip
To review and add a dividend, click Add to my portfolio, adjust the dates and dividend amount if necessary (usually no changes are required, as the suggestion already considers all characteristics of your portfolio), and then click Save.
