HEDG is a fund-of-funds that aims to generate income and mitigate downside risk through a covered call options writing strategy on the S&P500 index. The fund sells options on US large-cap stocks to earn premiums. The strategy provides partial downside protection while capping upside potential. Options positions are rolled quarterly. The portfolio primarily consists of ETFs but may also hold stocks directly. Holdings may also include cash, cash equivalents, ETFs, or money market funds for redemptions and liquidity purposes, capped at 20%. Additionally, assets may fully shift to these defensive instruments in response to adverse market conditions. Prior to October 13, 2025, HEDG was a mutual fund called Equable Shares Hedged Equity Fund before converting to an ETF with $275.2 million in assets.
