XNTK has a broader take on the technology space by extending its exposure to tech-related firms in the consumer discretionary sector. The fund follows a proprietary selection schemewhich comes with market-cap, liquidity, revenue- and sales-based screenersand then equal-weights its holdings. The result is a concentrated portfolio of 35 large- and midcap tech and tech-related firms. XNTK tilts smaller, since its equal-weighting scheme reduces the influence of industry giants. The fund is not the right ETF for frequent traders but may suffice for longer-term investors. The index is reviewed and rebalanced annually. Note: Prior to Sept. 11, 2017, the fund was known as the SPDR Morgan Stanley Technology ETF, traded under the ticker MTK and tracked the Morgan Stanley Technology Index. The change in index provide no material change to exposure. Prior to Oct. 31, 2025 the Issuer did not use the branding of State Street in the fund name.
