ICPI offers targeted exposure to the US TIPS market by tracking an index of US Treasury inflation-protected securities with $300 million in outstanding face value, excluding those held by the Federal Reserve. The fund selects investment-grade TIPS with at least one month to one year remaining until final maturity. These securities are market value-weighted. The fund uses a sampling method in tracking the index, which means it will invest in a representative sample of securities that collectively have an investment profile similar to that of the underlying index. At least 80% of its assets will be invested in the actual component securities while allocations to derivatives are capped at 10%. The fund may also engage in lending activities up to one-third of the value of its total assets. The index is rebalanced monthly on the last calendar day.
