PQDI aims to provide current income by investing in a diversified portfolio of global USD denominated securities in the preferred and capital securities market. The fund targets exposure to securities whose payments and distributions qualifies for favorable US federal income tax treatment. Securities selected are dividend-paying securities, including preferred stocks, depositary receipts, REITs, junior subordinated debts, corporate bonds and contingent convertible securities.
