RING provides exposure to gold mining companies, as classified by GICS, from developed and emerging markets. A minimum of at least 30 securities that do not hedge to gold prices are selected from the MSCI ACWI Investable Market Index. If there are less than 30 securities, companies with hedging activities will be screened to meet criteria-based requirements. Only then can other precious metals companies outside the investable universe be considered. Weighting is based on the MSCI 25/50 methodology, such that the fund diversifies its holdings through capping limits. The index is reviewed quarterly starting every February.
