SPCE Long- Catching the Falling KnifeSPCE has gotten destroyed after the announcement that their first test flight is to be pushed back until May. Despite this massive downturn I want to buy the dip and hold through April and maybe May. One of the imminent risks with any aircraft stock is the potential of failure. This would likely cause even more selling of the stock. In part this is why I like the swing trade to April. It will give time for the market as a whole to recover as well as the individual stock. My target for this stock is $43.98 by April 20th.
Broke Below The 100 MA... 200 MA Next?
I'm looking for some support at the 200 MA on the daily chart before longing this. Today it broke below the 100 MA quite fast, so this is either a great short term shorting opportunity, or wait for some support before longing it. I would stay plugged in to the news about the future flights. Good news could solidify it's support at or around the 200 MA.
At the Bottom, Get the Dip! $SPCERight now, Virgin Galactic looks to be at the bottom and this seems to be a great buy/dip opportunity. Support levels just need to be picked up for a short squeeze. That said, please do your own due diligence and invest at your own risk. Everything I say is on an opinion based basis.
Mass Market Overreaction, Buy the DipI believe that $SPCE is at a heavily oversold territory. Overall I am quite bullish on a positive future for Virgin Galactic and think that once sentiment picks up, this can go back to garnishing momentum. That said, invest at your own risk and do your own due diligence. Everything I say is on an opinion based basis.
SPCE up and downs before next test flight - LongI've been looking at the historical data for SPCE around test flight windows and It history was to repeat itself we could have similar hype and spikes leading up to and after the test fight (providing it's successful)
When the test flight failed it fell 30% and stayed around the $24 price before then rocketing up 137% to $62
Since the news of the test flight being postponed it’s already dropped 33% to around $34 I can see it bouncing around the $32-34 price for around a month and then I can see it going up when the test flight window gets closer.
Then I can see test flight build up taking us to around $52 and if successful I think it should push to $90!
