The fund encourages transformational change in the public companies it holds by applying proxy voting guidelines and engaging in dialogue with management. Instead, the fund favors actions that encourage companies to invest in their employees, communities, customers, and the environment through its equity stake. The market-cap-weighted index is composed of 500 of the largest stocks from a universe composed of US companies from any sector. Holdings are reconstituted semi-annually and rebalanced quarterly. Prior to October 13, 2023, the fund was called the Engine No. 1 Transform 500 ETF.
