NERD is designed to capture the growth and innovation within the global video game and eSports industry. The fund invests in video game-related companies, including publishers, developers, distributors, and esports service providers across multiple platforms such as console, PC, mobile, and cloud. To qualify for inclusion, securities must have a market capitalization of at least $500 million at the time of rebalance. Portfolio weighting is based on market capitalization but is adjusted to prevent overconcentration in any single security. Most holdings fall within the entertainment industry of the communication services sector. The fund is rebalanced at least quarterly. Before September 27, 2022, the fund was named Roundhill BITKRAFT Esports & Digital Entertainment ETF and tracked the Roundhill BITKRAFT Esports Index. Prior to October 1, 2025, the fund tracked the Nasdaq CTA Global Video Games Software Index.
