DALI uses a fund-of-funds structure to cycle between US and international equity sleeves based on momentum. The fund applies point and figure charting to compare price momentum across ETFs representing each sleeve, selecting the one with the strongest relative strength. These evaluations occur twice a month, and assets are fully reallocated as needed to maintain exposure to the highest forward-looking return potential. Both equity sleeves are represented by a mix of First Trust ETFs using either Dorsey Wrights's relative strength methodology or First Trust's AlphaDEX methodology. The US equity exposure is allocated 65% to high-performing sector ETFs and 35% to large- and small-cap growth ETFs, while international equity exposure follows a similar 65/35 breakdown using regional and developed/emerging markets ETFs. Given its concentrated, all-or-nothing allocation model and frequent rebalancing, investors should be prepared for drastic swings in exposure. Before March 31, 2025, the 1 in the funds name and index was replaced with equity.
