The fund is an actively managed ETF that seeks capital growth by investing in large- and mid-cap securities located in or with significant business interests in emerging markets, excluding China. The portfolio manager uses a bottom-up stock selection process to favor companies trading at significant discounts. Companies should also have the ability to generate positive and sustainable earnings growth, enabling them to achieve economic profits over time. Companies are evaluated with a focus on long-term earnings growth, excellent management teams, and dominance in their markets. The fund may use options, forward contracts and other derivatives for hedging and non-hedging purposes. The fund may also engage in securities lending transactions or enter into repurchase and/or reverse repurchase agreements. The ETF may also invest in other ETFs.
