The fund aims for capital growth by actively selecting large multinational corporations that have demonstrated leadership in their respective industries. Constituents are selected using a fundamental bottom-up approach that focuses on the following factors: competitive position, management teams quality and ethics, financial strength, and valuation. The fund includes firms from both developed and emerging markets, however, it primarily focuses on companies that benefit from economies growing at a rate higher than the global gross domestic product (GDP). This explains the funds 20% cap on emerging markets investments. Although the fund may consist of firms from any sector and industry groups, the final selection skews towards non-cyclical companies.
