The fund actively invests in collateralized loan obligations that are rated AAA or equivalent. It specifically targets USD-denominated CLOs issued outside Canada. The debt securities may be purchased from both primary and secondary markets. The fund may invest in CLOs of any maturity not exceeding 15 years but caps its individual security allocation to 10% of its assets. Fixed-rate CLOs are limited to 10% as well. Derivatives, such as currency forward contracts and currency futures contracts, may be utilized for hedging and risk management.
