TCNNF Their sponsored 2026 Florida recreational ballot initiative has been declared to have obtained enough signatures and will move to the final Judicial review.
With the law closing down the Hemp based THC market going into effect next year (Knocking out most their competition), if they pass rec they will be poised to dominate the Florida recreational market as well as medical.
Curious as to if and when this will effect the stock price.
TCNNF The market is selling off MSO stocks like Trulieve (TCNNF) because of the new restrictive hemp-THC rules, and I'm buying the dip.
Most investors see this as a negative, thinking these companies are losing a revenue stream. I think they're missing the long-term, strategic victory.
While it seems counterintuitive (since MSOs also sell some hemp products), their main lobbying arms, like the U.S. Cannabis Council, overwhelmingly supported these new restrictions. They know exactly what this is about.
A ban on hemp-derived THC is the single greatest gift the federal government could give to state-licensed Multi-State Operators.
Here's why:
It eliminates their primary competitor. The unregulated hemp market was beating them on price and convenience in every gas station and smoke shop.
It re-establishes their state-sanctioned monopoly.
It funnels all THC-seeking customers (who want a legal, tested product) back into their dispensaries.
It protects their moat. This ban protects the high prices and high barriers to entry that make their core business so valuable.
The market sees a small division being cut; I see their biggest competitor being wiped out. This is great news for MSO margins and market share in the long run.
TCNNF everyone bailed after FL recreational didn’t pass. That’s when I bought in! Marijuana isn’t going anywhere. I’m buying in on the floor and holding so that when it rockets, I can cash in. There will be a vote again and it’ll pass. And when it does, I’ll be holding a large bag (of money, not pot).
TCNNF Right now there is a strong indication that Florida will pass the Trulieve sponsored Recreational Marijuana Amendment with 66% of the vote. This will exponentially expand Trulieve's market in Florida while the amendment provides for no new competition for them.
This plus the Fed government looking to complete the rescheduling of marijuana in the next two months opening up lower taxes and higher profits for Trulieve makes me rather Bullish on TCNNF
TCNNF Lots of good news for Trulieve lately including Florida being on the verge of passing the recreational voter initiate Trulieve created which is even picking up support from Republican legislators. They are also making headway in other states and on a Federal level we are soon going to see the rescheduling of cannabis which will allow Trulieve to save a great amount in taxes leading to higher profits and great cashflow/market expansion.
