SPBC adds Bitcoin exposure to a portfolio of US equities. The fund invests at least 80% of its assets in US equity securities, which include common stocks, preferred stocks, or futures on common or preferred stocks via ETFs and futures. SPBC does not hold physical Bitcoin or invest directly in Bitcoin, Bitcoin futures, or other cryptocurrencies. Instead, the fund aims to allocate 10% of its total assets to exchange-traded products (ETPs) that directly hold spot Bitcoin. The adviser selects Bitcoin ETPs that it believes to offer sufficient liquidity and relatively low expenses. The fund generally rebalances this allocation quarterly but may rebalance more frequently to ensure that Bitcoin exposure does not exceed 25% of its assets. Prior to November 1, 2024, the fund was named Simplify US Equity PLUS GBTC ETF.
