Stadler Rail AG engages in the production of railway vehicles. It operates through the following segments: Rolling Stock and Service & Components, and Signalling. The Rolling Stock segment manufactures types of rail vehicles. This segment includes product types in high-speed, intercity, regional trains, city transport, locomotives, and tailor-made ones manufactures. The Service & Components segment offers services, modernization and revision, spare parts service and vehicle repairs, with the maintenance and assessment of defective parts of the offered services, and includes the supply of vehicle components, such as car bodies or bogies. The Signalling segment develops and distributes various signalling solutions for vehicles and infrastructures. The company was founded by Ernst Stadler in 1942 and is headquartered in Bussnang, Switzerland.
