COPX took a 55% loss on this one. Admittedly I made several mistakes on this trade. The main one was sticking in COPX instead of repositioning into 
CPER early on which did move the way I expected.

COPX cooling again after last weeks spike, but still too early to know if the move is real. Friday (Aug, 1st) should be telling with 50% duties on the docket.

Looking at Jan 2026 $46 COPX PUTS on the 50% Trump tariff. Remarkably the price is up 2% overnight (Robinhood). If the Bloomberg article is right, the surge could be a last minute rush to move material before the duties kick in.
